"Adora..."

The princess of BrightMoon looked up at her and tried to not let her alone but...she needed to be alone. Glimmer didn't say anything but went back to the dining room so she could continue her breakfast even if she was worried about her friend. Adora got to the room just setting the note on the same desk she had done her hair at. She nearly slammed it down as she did before just grabbing the edge of the desk and leaning on it with a bow of her head. She was finally alone and hopefully the princess wouldn't be back before she left so she took some time to just cry. She was holding onto the edge of the desk and shaking slightly as she did while letting out weak sobs.

Catra on the other hand looked at Glimmer returning to the table but...Adora was nowhere to be found. She just heard the chats of her mother and the rest of them talking about yet again her marriage but she didn't comment on that..not yet. "Um... Mother I'm going upstairs" murmured at the woman and stood up "Oh prince Chris just arrived. Do you want to show him the place, my dear?"

"What is he doing here...-?" She furrowed her eyebrows only to give her a glare

"We've signed the alliance's contracts of course. We need your signature and his only before the marriage" Her eyes widened at that. How could she not know about that? She has met a lot of princes to think that her mom would actually get to choose this one. He cared only about money and the name of his family. Her heart skipped "I.. will stay alone for a while... I'll help him later" She breathed out heading upstairs to her own room, she still didn't know where the blonde one vanished.

"I can't believe she actually did it... I.. I don't want to get married, Em- " The girl stepped inside the room as she talked to her companion "Adora-! I thought you left. Weren't you hungry?" She almost jumped to walk close to her inside the room. Her ears tilted in excitement. By the time the blonde had finally gathered herself up again she had found a piece of paper and a quill to write a note of her own. She was in the middle of writing it when Catra came in and she looked up. Her face was puffy and red from crying but she stood up quickly just crumpling the note she was writing and backing up when she tried to approach her, lifting a hand

"Don't... Don't. I know what your mother wanted you to do." She paused just looking at her "well congrats... You managed to make me fall for you... Guess you failed in the second half though didn't you." She just watched her for a moment before realising that she was going to start crying again. She just walked out, throwing the note in the trash as she did and closing the door hard behind her. A part of her wished Glimmer was wrong.. The other part knew that she was right. Her tears started to build up and finally fall as she walked away. The feline's eyes got wide, her ears fell back down at the woman's words "No — Adora... Adora please let me explain" She reached to hold her hand but she walked out after dodging her hand. Her heart was in pieces. How did this note come to her hands in the first place? Her eyes looked down at the paper and blinked as she harassly slammed the door. Why did everything have to go wrong today..

The feline didn't know what to do..should she run behind her? Should she stay there? She quickly ran out of the room to catch up on her. "Adora please wait -!Please... Listen to me..!" She almost cried out and walked to approach her at least "Yes... I.. I was supposed to make you fall for me but... But not only I couldn't kill you.. I loved you..and I still love you, that's why I can't do it... I can't let my mother kill you either" Her words were cut since she was trying to hold back her tears "Please... Trust me, I.. I never lied about loving you... I loved every single time I spent with you ..."

"How do I know I can trust that?! How do I know you aren't just trying to fix this so you can kill me!" She looked at her, not bothering to hide the fact that she was crying "I should have known though.. The knight that tried to kill me was from the Horde... And then the same day I'm almost poisoned... Maybe Glimmer was right... She told me not to trust you... S-she tried to warn me..." She shook her head "Maybe I should have listened..."
