Catra didn't want to pull away from her after that long night. She loved how soft she could be.. how gentle she was. Her eyes closed and gave her a small peck on her forehead. A faint one. She purred for a while and soon she fell asleep in her arms while having her own arms wrapped around her as well.

Adora for her matter slept in later, curling into her wife and nuzzling into her. When she finally woke up she yawned, stretching and curling into her "Mm... Good morning..."

"Morning...." The other one whispered and placed a peck on her lips before she brushed her hair. "How was your sleep...?" She hummed. Her voice was slightly different from the sleep and her tail wagged softly.

Adora rubbed her back and kissed her shoulder, "mm.. incredible actually..." She kissed her cheek then with a smile "how was yours, my love?"

"good...... My belly is aching more than last time...." She spoke softly and gave her a small kiss on her forehead. Her hand cupped her cheek and she slowly rubbed her. "We have to hurry with all the recruitment..." She hummed. She was worried about plenty of things and she couldn't stay there to enjoy their moment.

The warrior put a hand on her stomach to soothe the pain then, leaning into her with a hum "mm.. do you need some of that stuff the 'other' me suggested for you last time...? I'll put out a request for it to be stocked again as soon as we can..." she kissed her cheek then "why don't we start getting recruitment tables set up in villages across the kingdom... giving them the option to join will make them more likely to join than being forced..."

"If we ask them, nobody will come, Adora.... This is war. Nobody cares for our child's death" She hummed and brushed her hair back "You're so ...soft and kind.. literally the opposite of what a queen must be..."

The blonde looked up at her then, sitting up and kissing her head "That is not true at all... a queen can be kind and soft.. so long as she can hold firm when need be" she cupped her cheek then "Catra... I know Light Spinner taught you, but not everything she believed was..well, right.."

"yeah but think about this one at least.... Would you go fight for your queen's child getting killed by the enemies? If you were given the opportunity to say no and stay with your family? To stay at home, in peace ,without the cries of war?... Would you?" She tightened her fist. Catra knew nobody was stupid enough to say yes... She looked at her in her blue eyes and waited for her answer "Back then if Angella gave you the choice would you leave me behind and go to war?"

"I wouldn't have. But there are plenty of men and women.. especially in our kingdom, sadly, who have no family, no wives or children. Who have nothing but the clothes on their back. If we offer food, shelter, warmth to them? That is better than the streets.. We already have an army... We just need to maintain it. And if we are smart? Those few who are willing to join will be plenty." Adora took a deep breath and looked down at her "but... you do have a point... why don't we compromise? Cities over a certain population limit are required to provide a certain amount of men, while cities under the limit are under choice rather than requirement? I don't want to pull men from mining towns or farms. They need to keep producing through the war and they will need all the hands they can get"

"..... I guess we can do that..." Catra shrugged. At least her opinion kind of passed to the plan so.. it was something for a change. She knew that the girl wouldn't go ,unless she was ordered to. So she didn't get surprised when she answered that. "Do you think we can do this in a week...? We have to hurry now.." She didn't want to be alone once again during her pregnancy and if this war lasted months she would have to be in the end with her governess and the midwives. She looked away ,ears down as she didn't want to show she was hurrying for this reason.
