The next few days would be spent in the castle. People really didn't believe the princess was still alive but they... weren't happy or mad about her returning. The governess stayed behind with the two felines in the end and Adora ended up sitting on the throne beside Catra. The celebration was just for a single day for them. The villagers and royals could celebrate the rising queen for as long as they wished but.... They couldn't stay there and leave their children behind. They returned to their house, taking their children with them and the servants with the guards and moved to the castle in a few weeks. Adora's life changed...a lot. Catra being a queen meant she would have to help her with all this extra work and extra duties she had. They would do things together; get in more arguments in the next months but still they were together no matter what happened. Adora kept her head high and even though she let Catra do the most work for this she would sometimes pipe up with a solution of her own. She had gained a few new scars but it was something she wore with pride now, something to show just how far she's gotten.. how strong she is despite so many people hurting her. They had been focused on fixing the Fright-zone, shifting their attention and desires away from warfare. Even though it was difficult they were starting to see some progress. The feline queen made some progress on talking more with her wife as well. The governess was taking care of the children who were now walking, talking even and now she began to teach them how to write and read. Catra told Adora to teach them how to fight. The kingdom was already more rich than before. The war made people, villagers mostly, starve to death but now, with peace, everything went smoothly.
Once the year ended and the winter had come, the two children decided to go out to play in the snow. Adora obviously would keep an eye on them. Catra was already beside her governess so she would dress up the little girl properly for the cold. Jack was outside after quickly putting on his bowtie on the collar of his jacket and thick gloves for the cold with a coat above his clothes and boots. He almost jumped and purred in excitement. This would be their first time playing outside in the snow and he was pacing down the hall.
"Why does it take her so long!" He puffed but Adora let out a soft chuckle and picked him up
"Hey, kiddo~ Girls like Lena and mom Catra don't put on just a shirt and warm coat to keep them from getting cold. They need some time to dress up" She hummed and placed a soft poke on his cheek after fixing his bow. "You are so cute with this bow~"
"What!? No! I'm big and strong and not cute!" Jack puffed as his ears perked back
"Hey ..hey, you don't have to not be cute in order to be strong and grown up! You're my little man!" Adora chuckled playing with him as he giggled while she was lifting him up to the air.
As the door opened Catra walked out with Lena by her side who was already holding her hand. The blonde little girl wore something to match her brother as their colours on clothing was almost all the time the same. Blue with soft signs of lighter colour and small details of their kingdom's symbol was on her bowtie on the collar of her dress. She wore white gloves and Catra held her pale white muff and leaned down to give it to her.
"Ey- No mom...! I will not be able to play with the snow if I'm holding this!"
"Lena, you'll get cold..!" Catra insisted but the girl ran off to Adora who wouldn't actually ...give her anything extra to put on
"Your majesty. She will be fine..." The older elf smiled and bowed her head while walking beside her. Daniella was the one to take care of them and... she was the one who was responsible for them. The children obviously ran out with Adora following just as fast from behind and giving them ideas of what to play. Jack obviously was the first one to throw a snowball on his sister's face which made the girl grunt and picked up some snow to do the same.
