After about 10 minutes in the blizzard, fighting off Geth forces, Chief and his group made it to Peak 15.

Since the garage door was blocked with snow and a damaged vehicle, the group went on foot. They then enter the building to see where they are at for the mission.

As they made it inside the Garage, they were suddenly ambushed by Geth and two Krogan merchs.

Kaiden used a biotic wrap to capture most of the geth, while the others finished them off quickly.

The Arbiter ran towards the two Krogan, having his energy sword ready. He then slashes at both of their heads, killing the two Krogan instantly.

Chief looked around, making sure the area was secured.

"Clear."

The intercoms went off, a robotic woman's voice making an announcement. "User alert. All Peak 15 facilities have suffered a great deal of damage. Biohazard materials present through the facility. Virtual Intelligence user interface offline."

"We should get those reactors back online. Might help on our mission." Echo replied.

Chief nodded, and made the hand signal to move out.

As they proceeded deeper into the depths of the mountain complex, the team would occasionally stop and search a room for any possible clues to Benezia's whereabouts. Most of the rooms they passed through were offices and small labs.

All the while, the only sound they heard was the dim hum of the lights and the occasional beeping of an unmanned computer interface.

"Ok, what's with these places with creepy things happening? First Feros, now this place?" Joe comments.

As they continued on, they noticed a hallway entrance, where two turrets were facing a different direction.

"Why are the turrets facing the wrong way?" Ashley asked.

"They want to keep their people in as much as they want to keep others out." Wrex said

The team eventually came to an elevator. Watching the hall behind them warily, Chief called the elevator.

Eventually, it arrived, illuminated only by an eerie red light. The team piled into the elevator and the ride was long, longer than most elevator rides even. The creepy red emergency lighting did nothing to ease nerves, including the creepy music.

At long last, the elevator doors opened to reveal a hallway, one whose floor was covered in snow.

"Cortana. Is it safe?" Chief asked, knowing that snow could indicate a breach that would let the far-below freezing atmosphere outside come in and freeze the crew to death.

"There's definitely a temperature drop, but nothing lethal." Cortana said. "That said, this does indicate that temperature control systems are slowly failing, at least in certain parts of the complex."

"Forward." Chief ordered. "Slow and steady."

The group pressed onward, still moving very slowly, still expecting an enemy to come out of nowhere at any given second. The crunching their boots made as they walked over the snow was the loudest thing in the entire complex at that moment, and only put the team even more on edge.
