Chief looked around the ship, seeing how Cerberus almost copied every aspect of the original Normandy, yet bigger.
He admits, Cerberus was impressive to be able to do this stuff within a few months. But that's about it, he's not gonna fall for their true intentions once the Reaper threat is over.

"Welcome aboard the new Normandy, Chief." Jacob replied, taking the SPARTAN-II out of his trance.
Dunyazade was looking over a data pad, seeing the candidates on who's the best pick to start. "I've been looking over the dossiers, I'd suggest we start with Mordin Solus and the other candidates nearby him on Tatooine. Archangel and Hecate."
"We know the Collectors use some type of advanced technology to immobilize their victims. We'll need Solus to develop a countermeasure to protect us." Jacob explains, seeing this is the only way to get an upper hand on the Collectors.
"Acquiring Professor Solus seems like the most logical place to start."
Chief looked around, not knowing where the voice was coming from. "Who said that?"
He then turns around to see a circular shaped hologram was the one talking.

"I am The Normandy's artificial intelligence. The crew like to refer to me as EDI."
Chief was shocked to see another A.I. was still alive, even though the Citadel Council banned them because of their intelligence.
Even Cortana was surprised to see another A.I. in front of her.
"I thought A.I.'s were outlawed from the Citadel?" Chief asked, needing some answers from this revaluation.
