The battle of the Citadel began.

Geth forces came out the Mass Relay, Saren infiltrated the Presidium, and the destiny of ascension was under attack.

In the Presidum...

Geth shock troopers and husk were guarding the elevator to the Council tower.

Suddenly, the Conduit Mass Relay in the center of the Presidium began to spark up a bit. The Mako then gets flung out and crushes the Geth and Husk.

Chief and his team then exited out of the vehicle, as they gathered themselves from the crash.

"What do we do now, Chief?" Tali asked.

Chief then grabs out his BC-1 and looks at the team. "Find Saren, find the master control, and stop Sovereign." He then looks at the elevator the Geth were protecting it. "He must be at the Council chambers. Let's move."

The group then enters the elevator and they began going up to get to Saren and the master control.

In the Council chambers...

Saren made his way to the console, as he uploaded the Reaper code to give full command to Sovereign to bring the Reapers to the Milky way cluster.

The Citadel arm doors began closing as Sovereign came out of the mass relay and entered the station before closing.

Sovereign began attaching itself to the Council tower, beginning to take control of the Mass Relay of the station. Ready to begin the cycle of extinction once again.

Back with the group...

They're getting all of their weapons set, ready for final battle with Saren.

It's time to end this madness...

Joe begins to chuckle a bit. "If you told me that we were gonna stop an alien machine that was purposely to end all live in the galaxy, I would've thought that would be crazy. But here we are, together to stop this threat and save everyone."

Ashley smirks at that. "You can say that again..." She then pauses a bit, and gives a serious face. "I know I haven't always been a good teammate, with my history and beliefs. But when I'm wrong, I say I'm wrong. I misjudged this, and I'm truly sorry about that. I wouldn't trade any better team for this."

She then sees Joe nodding at her, showing that he forgives her after her comment from Poker Night.

After a few minutes of silence, Arbiter looks at Chief. "Spartan, I know I should've said this when I joined. But it's good that you have returned, and I'm proud to be your friend."

He then holds out his hand for the gesture of trust.

Chief looks at it for a small bit, and grabs his hand and the two shake. "Thank you, and I'm glad I could fight along with you again, friend."
