Phoenix System, Argos Rho Cluster
After another day of traveling in space, The Normandy finally made it to the coordinates that Wrex has given.
Chief was in the Garage with Wrex. They should be more than enough to deal with the pirates that the Krogan warned about.
They then hopped in the Mako, ready for take off.
"Preparing to drop in... 3... 2... 1..." Joker said.
With that, the doors of the cargo bay yawned open, the wind howling around the Mako's hull.
Chief slammed on the gas pedal and the mako flung itself forward and fell to Therum's surface with all the elegance and grace of a flying brick, he then pushed on the thrusters, having a big clean landing.
The two then began driving to the location on where the pirate base was at. After a few minutes, they found it. They spotted some guards and quickly took care of them in a snap, thanks to the Mako's cannon and mini-gun.
They then hopped out of the Mako and went inside. They then see ten targets inside the base, but they can still handle it.
"This is the place. My armor's here somewhere." Wrex replied.
"Then let's go get it." Chief said.
The two then enter the next door, revealing a bigger room and the pirates that were prepared for them.
Chief and Wrex quickly took their weapons and made quick work with them. Killing them off one by one with their weapons.
They then reached the back room after killing the last pirate. They then see a giant safe in the room, knowing that's where the Armor is in. Cortana quickly hacked the safe, opening it up.
The first thing they saw was the Armor.
"This is it. I can't believe my ancestors wore this piece of crap, but at least I've got it back." Wrex replied.
"Glad to help, Wrex." Chief answers.
"I think I might like you even better, Spartan." Wrex said.
He touches his grandfather's armor, his expression... thoughtful, perhaps? Krogan are hard to read. Then he shakes off his bemusement and grips his gun with renewed purpose.
10 minuets later...
The Normandy picked the two back up with the Mako, and they took off from the planet.
Chief then sees Wrex back at his normal spot, knowing that he can trust the Krogan somewhat better now since he helped get the armor back.
"Chief. The council wants to talk to you. Sounds like we found another lead." Joker said on the intercom.
"Understood." Chief then heads to the COMM room to speak with them.
He then arrives in the COMM, turns on the projector, revealing the three members.
"Master Chief, we just had word that we have found Saren's location." Sparatus replied.
"Are you positive?" Chief asked, knowing that he can finally catch him.
"Yes, we had a strike team searching for him, and found his location at Virmire. They sent a message to us, but it was hard to tell. We are hoping that you can check on them and capture Saren." Varlen said.
"Understood, I'll make sure to capture him." Chief answers.
"We have faith in you, Spartan. Good luck." Tevos said.
With that, the projection of the Council left.
"Putting in the Coordinates now Chief. Should take us two days to arrive." Joker replied on the intercom.
"Get us there as soon as you can, Joker." Chief ordered.
"Aye Aye."
Chief was ready to take down Saren, he had it coming.
He then heads to his room, and waits till they arrive at Virmire.
