12:43 Hours, March 12th, 2560
Virmire Surface
Hoc System, Sentry Omega Cluster
After two days of flying in space, The Normandy finally made it to Virmire.
Their mission is to find the team that the Council sent, and capture Saren.
"Chief, I'm reading a signal. Must be the Strike team." Joker replied on the intercom.
Chief was in the Garage with his team, as they didn't know what was gonna be on the planet, but they were ready to face it.
"Copy that, Joker. Kaiden and Echo said there was some defense towers in the area, so be ready to drop the Mako. We'll go in hot and take out the enemy."
"I'll get you in underneath their radar, Chief"
Chief then sees Liara loading up on her gear. He then walks over to check on her, since she lost her mother in Noveria.
"Liara, are you sure you're up to this?"
She looked up to him and nodded. "Yes, Chief. I am saddened that my mother is gone, but that won't stop me from helping you to stop Saren. I'll always remember the good memories I had of her."
The SPARTAN-II nodded, he then got in the middle of the room and grabbed everyone's attention.
"We have word that Saren is here. This is our chance to capture him and stop whatever he is planning." Chief explained. "I don't want heroes on this mission. We find the strike team, see the situation, and go from there."
The team gave a green light on the team HUD.
"Mako drop in T-minus two minutes." Joker announced.
The crew then entered inside the Mako, which was even more cramped since the Arbiter and the twins were now inside the Vehicle as well. They then were ready to hit the planet.
The Mako then hit the ground smoothly, thanks to the sand on the ground, including the water.
"We've got a clean drop, Chief." Joker said on the radio.
"Copy. Stay out of range and continue evasive maneuvers until we bring down those towers." Chief replied.
"I know the drill. Meet you at the camp once those AA-towers are offline. Joker out."
Chief then hit the gas pedal, the Mako began driving to the AA-towers power source.
As they continue on their path, they notice some Geth drones blocking their path, proving that Saren is most likely here.
Luckily the drones were easy to finish off. As they continued on the path, they took down more drones, Geth rocket troopers, and Amateurs.
They then made it towards the building of the power source of the AA-towers, which also blocked the path for them.
"There's our target, Chief." Garrus noted.
