Y/n was sitting on the floor tied up beside Eddie as the door slammed shut with the group deciding to leave them as they were.
"You know, I think you are beginning to make a habit of hitting people across the face," Eddie commented not wanting there to be silence between the two for the duration of their captivity.
"Only when they deserve it." She laughed nervously looking down to the floor and placing her chin on her knees.
"That was quite brave, considering I could have hurt you," Eddie murmured watching Y/n and her body language trying to think of what to say next. She rolled her eyes and continued, "I think that if you were going to kill someone it would have had to have been Robin or I."
Eddie Munson's head shot up in confusion demanding an explanation, "What, why?"
She smiled politely up at him trying to compile the correct words to draw together to explain her thought process. "Well, the others are all really close, whereas Robin and I, our only connection to the others are Steve. And considering I'm the newest it would have been easier to cover up my murder." Just as Eddie was about to interrupt she had carried on closing her eyes and furrowing her eyebrows trying to further explain herself. "And! If you were to kill Steve it would impact everyone more and when people began to find out, no one would forgive you. Not even Dustin."
The man hadn't a clue how to react other than to try and make light of the situation with a small joke only afterwards which he realised to probably be too soon, far too soon. "And you are saying this to an alleged murderer," His tone went from a light happy tone to a more serious one, "aren't you scared?"
"Of you? No." She stated simply without thought. He was watching the girl closely keeping his trap shut too happy to even think of words. "Plus even if you were a killer, you'd have to be the nicest killer I have ever met."
"So you have met many of them?"
"You'd be surprised," She winked confusing the boy and causing her to laugh lightly. All he could seem to see was how individual and how delicate the woman was only for him to get a flashback of her punching him across the face and pinning him down to the wall. He touched his face as it still stung.
"Also, I think this is yours." Her two hands were tied behind her back and reached into her pocket pulling out his beloved handkerchief.
"It was caught in the door of my van. And I would just like to say thank you... for my keys." Eddie stood up walking around in front of her causing the girl to lift her head and focus her eyes on him as he grasped the handkerchief tightly taking it from her. "You know, it's hard to find someone as nice as you, considering every time anyone looked at me it was in disgust so I appreciate that princess-"
"Don't you dare call me princess again or you won't have two legs left to walk on." she glared at him cringing at the nickname as he laughed in response understanding where he stood.
"Either way. You sure are something special. And I appreciate your kindness."
"Thank you?"
After a moment of silence and Eddie deep in thought, Y/n didn't want to disturb his thought process considering what he had witnessed thinking he may have needed the time out.
"What makes you so certain I didn't kill her." He spewed out suddenly, causing the woman to buffer not expecting such a profound question so straightforward from the leader of Hellfire
"I don't know that you didn't kill her. I do know that you are a good person." She managed to mumble out loud enough for only Eddie to hear. He wasn't convinced in the least but covered his insecurities up with somewhat of a joke still addressing the topic at hand.
