"H." Dustin stood over the light-up board waiting to decipher their message with their brutal handwriting. "Hi"!

"Hi!"

"Hey! Hi. That worked!" The group spoke delightedly at one another and Dustin even though Dustin couldn't hear them celebrated with luke. As the energy thrummed at their fingertips the group continued to write, "S... T..." "U..."

"Stu..." Stupid? Stupid?" Dustin questioned only to receive the two missing letters. "...C... K."

"Stuck."

Steve jumped in delight hearing Dustin's whisps of voice call out the word they were so desperate to spell, "Yes. We are."

"They're stuck in the Upside Down. Okay. Uh, you can't get back through Watergate?"

Y/n stayed back watching them all smile in delight eagerly awaiting their response only Y/n couldn't help but be deep in thought as she continued to remember things, piece by piece. Then a familiar warm feeling emerged in her chest and the name that caused this was 'Henry'.

They all stood around spelling words but Eddie looked back at Y/n seeing her completely out of it. He walked over to her gingerly wanting nothing more than to embrace her, "You okay?"

Her eyes snapped up from the floor where she was initially spacing out towards the one person who had their head turned facing her as the commotion went on around him. Eddie felt betrayed that she didn't tell him, and he couldn't live with himself if he had let her die. The two held eye contact only to be interrupted by the feint voice of Dustin calling out to them, and words have never sounded so loud at that moment.

"Guarded," Dustin called out celebrating his deciphering of the word interrupting their accidental eye contact which was getting more intense the longer the two held it. Breaking the contact she looked away and he departed from the group circle beginning to approach her only to stop in his tracks as soon as she spoke.

"Eddie right now isn't the best time to be starting fights."

He shook his head giving in to his childish stubborn exterior, "I don't want a fight when it comes to us talking. I just want to know why you didn't tell me that it was you."

Eddie had gotten closer to the girl letting his arms drop to his side wanting to take her hands and look into her eyes and tell her that he wanted nothing but trust, and as much as he hated it, affection between one another.

He lifted his hands taking hers slowly allowing her to pull away if necessary, but she didn't. He looked into her eyes and he had never felt his heart throb more by looking at someone. "I never wanted to fight with you, okay? I guess I was sad that you didn't trust me enough to tell me you were... cursed."

She sighed and looked down leaving her hands in his, "I didn't want you thinking I was going to die. I didn't want you worrying about me, and I didn't want you remembering me as 'that cursed girl that died in 1986'."

He glided his thumb across the back of her hand in the hopes of soothing her while commotion continued behind the two. "I want you to know that you can lean on me. In this situation, we need each other to lean on now more than ever."

She gently took her hands away from his only realising how cold the air was once his hands had left hers, She was snapped out of the moment hearing Dustin's voice echoed throughout the room. "Seriously? How many times do I have to be right on the money before you trust me?" Hearing the snarky voice bouncing ominously around the room, Steve scoffed and turned to notice the two who stood closer than his liking behind the rest of the group.

Trying to take the two away from one another he interjected subtly, "Jesus Christ. This kid has got to get his ego in check." He spoke referring to Dustin's comment walking over to the two interrupting their moment.
