Chapter 13 - "I Kissed Him."

"Help us out, guys?!" Eddie called up, waving his hands to the group of kids trying to call for a bit of help. Steve was quick to jump onto their makeshift rope, causing Nancy to grunt bitterly, sighing and deciding to follow him to the upside down while Robin stood there anxiously biting her nails.

"You knocked her the fuck out!" Steve yelled flailing his arms around only to place them in his hair out of frustration hoping to be getting out of the upside down.

"What was I meant to do? She would have tried to stay and look for her friend in that fucked up place."

"YOU COULD HAVE DONE A LOT OF THINGS EDDIE!" The two argued on the couch with their hands on their foreheads meanwhile Y/n lay unconscious to the naked eye, when in reality she was in a dark, damper room as she walked around then speculating on her friends remembering this place from the initial versions of Dr Brenner's experiments.

She kneeled in front of them both and looked at her friends watching the back-and-forth bickering between the two men only to hear footsteps behind her. Turning her head she saw a fifteen year old girl in all white clothing. Y/n stood to her full height and stepped in front of the scene centered in the dark endless room.

"Get out of here before I end things right here right now kid." She growled protectively in front of her oblivious friends bickering.

"Y/n?" She asked in shock not expecting ever to see her face again. Y/n held up her hand outstretched with a glare darkening on her face. The young girl's face paled as she began to get lifted off the floors she reached for her neck in the hopes of releasing the tightening grip, "You took everything from me Eleven."

Y/N's eyes began to well up with tears. She couldn't stop herself after a certain point as her emotions consumed her. It was as if she wasn't behind her own motor function and the power had taken over or perhaps something more sinister. This wasn't Y/n, there was someone else coming out that wasn't who she knew herself to be. 

Since all those months ago she had woken up at the side of the road and had created herself again not remembering her past, but her past was creeping back up on her.

With Y/N's other hand, she grabbed onto her wrist pulling it down as if it had a mind of its own.

"Get out!" She yelled to the young teen as she dropped to the floor only to scramble to her feet and look at Y/n in shock.

Y/n let out a gasp as she opened her eyes sitting up off the floor she didn't realise she was on. looking at her surroundings, she looked over to a group of huddled people around a table who hadn't noticed her shoot back to life. Her eyes began to refocus as the bright lights and colours enveloped the room. She stood to her feet and walked over to hear them talking about a place called 'War Zone'. She had heard kids talk about the place before and recalled it to be a huge weapons shop.

"It's going to take all day to bike out there and back," Dustin spoke attempting to think of something that could be more efficient only for Eddie to speak up causing Y/n's heart to pace hearing his voice. "Who said anything about bikes?"

"You got some sort of car we don't know about?" Steve snarkily responded only to feel the same thing happen again, but because of someone different. Y/n was not entirely sure what was going on and assumed it was because she was knocked out and using her powers she had forgotten she had harnessed.

"It's not exactly a car Steve, plus it's not exactly mine but uh, it'll do." Munson cautiously spoke not wanting anyone to get the right idea.

"What about my van?" Y/n asked from the back of the group causing them all to turn their heads in surprise.

"Y/n." Steve gasped giving her a bear hug causing her arms to wrap around his neck and accept his hug whether she wanted to or not. Eddie pursed his lips together looking at her apologetically giving her a nod. Robin went straight to Y/n's side pushing Steve off the girl. "Give her space. She needs to breathe Harrington!"
