Eddie was trapped at Skull Rock trying to dry out his wet, rung-out jacket while also trying to ignore the fact that he was being hunted. He draped the wet, rung-out jacket over a rock in an effort to get the dampness out.

He sighed sitting on the dirt floor with his hands on his head. He could not seem to shake Y/n from his mind. He sighed curling up his fingers in frustration, everyone had to have it out against Eddie and he was getting more and more fed up with it recently, even so, it didn't kill his hopes for a better life.

As soon as he heard footsteps he threw on the half-dried jacket making sure to crouch down behind the rock. Noticing the sudden silence he inched outward beginning to stand up to get a better look around the rock in order to figure out who was there. Peeking out from behind the rock Eddie was suddenly thrown to the ground. Panicked he was about to shove her away.
...
But it was her.

The realisation hit him causing him to hold onto her tightly in a painful hug and she held him in a tight embrace, but worth it all the same. "Are you okay?" The two said to one another at the same time. Y/n looked up at Eddie while he looked down at her not able to take his eyes away from her. "I'm sorry I couldn't have helped you. What did he do to you?" Eddie stated obviously referring to Jason and her 'disagreement' the other day.

"I'm fine, don't worry-"

"Well, I don't think I will stop worrying about you anytime soon. Have you seen yourself?" He joked causing Y/n to snigger at him shoving her head into his chest. He felt as if he were going to explode feeling so warm and at peace for once in this stressful time. Whereas Y/n was hiding her face on the brink of tears not wanting him to worry about what fate had set for her. Taking her head away from his chest she smiled sadly at him only for the others to arrive.

"She sprinted all the way here as soon as we parked the car." As the two on the ground assisted one another in getting up, Robin panted, revealing herself to the two teenagers.

"Where are the others?"

"Steve stuck with The kids and Nancy, so they all went to investigate someone's old house where a similar occurrence happened." In an effort to regain her breath, Robin couched over and began to heavily breathe. Partially from the long sentence but mainly from running after Y/n.

"You don't know if Henderson is cursed do you?" He questioned, looking between the two women. Robin shook her head and shrugged, only for Y/n to swiftly respond, "No, he is safe."

He squatted, sitting on the heels of his feet, and let out a sigh of relief. "Do we know who it is going to be?"

Her mind was going through every scenario she could have told Eddie at a million miles per hour. The last thing she needed was for Eddie to be worrying about her more than he already was. "Not that I am aware of." To protect those who cared about her, white lies were said. They weren't considered 'real' lies, right?

Back in the car, everyone had gone silent and no one spoke a word to the girl as she simply spaced out in shock. Even though she may not have had the strongest will to live, she was adamant that she would not submit to a menacing ominous voice rising from the ether.

Robin knew that she was lying because as soon as she had joined Y/n it was one of the first things that Robin was told by the h/c girl. They were probably the closest with each other, other than Steve, so it was almost expected of them to share their emotional and some personal dilemmas with one another.

At the other side of town the group were investigating the house, Max walked through the front door and made eye contact with the grandfather clock, "That is the exact same clock from Christys sketches!" she exclaimed lighting up and walking closer to it knowing that the group were on a good lead.
