"Eddie didn't kill him!" Y/n attempted to explain to the police officer which stood in front of her with a small notepad and an even smaller pen in hand taking notes and getting her side of the story whilst an ambulance took away Patrick's mangled body. One of the medics tended to Y/n's wounds meanwhile some others were catering to the mutilated corpse of the jock.

The policeman sighed before he began to speak trying to think up any bullshit explanation to explain to her that it was the only explanation for all of these occurrences. "Honey, you lost a lot of blood, you both could have had some form of shared psychosis. Anything could be out here, and this is also a common drug spot, so you could have been slipped something or inhaled the wrong thing.-"

"Okay then, riddle me this. How could Eddie have done that on board a boat." She glowered becoming more and more impatient with their stupid assumptions, she was having none of the officer's rubbish around the conspiracy surrounding Eddie. Keeping her stern glare at the middle-aged man she persisted in trying to ram it through his head that Eddie was innocent.

"He is using his voodoo from his cult. Hellfire." Jason said stomping towards the officer rudely interrupting what should have been a private conversation between the officer and herself, there he stood with his shock blanket around his shoulders still drenched from head to toe holding himself looking as if he were born to be as pretentious as he actually was. Sitting at the bottom of her open van she continued to glare at the two of them. She finally stood up trying her best not to sway from side to side due to the blood loss, "It's not a fucking cult. It is a bunch of nerds getting together to play an imaginative role-playing game!"Jason began to size up to Y/n and she did the same only for the officer to intervene

The officer rolled his eyes mistaking the aggressive tension between the two as sexual tension. He sighed knowing that he could not have cared less about what weird relationship the two had when the truth of the matter was that she had beat up his friend with a tray."Kids calm down, now, how did you get your injuries?"

Y/n scowled at Jason not taking her eyes away whilst saying with a vicious glint in her eye, "I fell."

Jason had a look of confusion for a moment before returning to his usual, rather punchable, stern face. That was probably the last thing he would have expected her to say if he were being honest, and in some odd twisted way, it made him respect the h/c girl more. Only by point zero zero zero five per cent but still. It was odd.

"You fell?" The policeman asked raising an eyebrow knowing that she couldn't have gotten these injuries from a fall as he looked between the two with their continuous spiteful glares.

"Hard." She spat. She officially despised the jock.

"... right, so you fell hard." He said raising his eyebrows knowing that wasn't what happened but let it slide.

"Yes sir." She spoke up to the officer not wanting for their third wheel to see any weakness in her. Jason kept his mouth shut as the officer noted what had happened. After finally being released from the officer she walked towards her van opening the door and shoving the key into place starting the engine.

"You are going to bring me to him," Jason said popping up out of nowhere and opening the van door. She was not one bit impressed with him or his behaviour especially considering what had happened not even an hour ago.

"Hah, what do you take me for? I'm not letting you kill my friend." She laughed at his stupidity taking a hold of the door trying to pull it back closed only for Jason to hold the door in place. His thinking that she would rat on her friend and that it would be that easy was stupidity in itself. She pulled up the handbrake, turned off the engine and then spun around to give the boy all the attention he wanted, but didn't necessarily deserve.
