I was driving to fetch fetch Luna from piano, yes, she does piano now because the other parent thought she should play an instrument and my daughter chose a piano. So my Saturday's are dropping off Luna at lessons then run my errands and fetching her after 2 hours. I don't mind, don't get me wrong but Saturday's are literally all I have to relax.
" You are late Zoey"
The first thing she said when she opened the door, I was 5 minutes late.
Me" Yes because you wanted me to buy ice cream and water"
Luna" I have homework"
Me" I can't help you because I don't know how to read music"

Me" Why?"

Khaya" Because your daughter is in grade 1, most of the kids in her class probably come from a two parent household. Luna needs Andrew and you need to accept that. Your daughter wants to know her father and she wants to know you together"

Andrew really arrived after 4pm and he looked exhausted.
Me" Why are you in suit?"
Andrew" Had a meeting then had to catch a flight to come here"

Andrew" Hahaha she has me by the balls"

" Her room is the first room on your right, she is angry at me because I scolded her for calling you without asking me"

Andrew" Fuck, should have called you but was trying to move everything around so I can watch her swimming gala on Monday"

I wore black cycling shorts and a white oversized North Face sweater with airforce 1. I already had my ash grey wig on, so I just straighten it. When I was finally done I grabbed my phone and car keys, my ex boyfriend and his twin were seated on the couch.
Luna" See? I told you, Zoey is always late"
Andrew was just staring at me, I smiled at him then he cleared his throat.
Andrew" I understand why"
I didn't say anything after that comment
" I need to stop at the hotel to change then we take one car"
Me" Okay"
Luna" I'll go with Andrew"
They left and I locked up the house, I followed to the hotel. Chatting with Khaya while waiting, sent him a few snaps of me. They came back and I stared at him, he smiled at me. Ah! Hormones you son of a bitch.

I rolled my eyes at him then played Ocean Eyes by Billie Eilish.

I wanted to die, I did carry it with me most of my life but I tucked it away a month ago because I'm with Khaya now.
