Chapter 19- Prepare for the Ritual.

The next day everyone was sitting in the throne room discussing the preperations.

"So how do you guys prepare for the ritual" Aknadin asked.

"Well first we are gonna put everyone asleep" Yugi said.

"Okay, but how do you guys plan on doing that" Ishizu asked.

"Just watch" Malik said.

Then Yugi and Ryou went into the center of the room. They stood in front of each other, and kneeled. Then they put their right palm on the floor, and closed their eyes.

"Soul Possessor" Yugi said.

"Soul Controller" Ryou said.

Suddenly the people in egypt stopped what they were doing. Then their eyes started to glow white. The guards in the throne room were also going through the same thing. The entire council were amazed at what was happening to the guards. Then suddenly the millennium puzzle and ting started to glow. Then the puzzle and ring floated from Atem and Bakura, and flew straight into the left hands of Yugi and Ryou. They tied the items around their necks and opened their eyes. Their eyes shined with a golden light, and on their foreheads were the symbol of the eye of horus. The items glowed brighter.

"Power of the Millennium Puzzle" Yugi said.

"Power of the Millennium Ring" Ryou said.

Then the people in Egypt all stood up straight.

"Sleep of the Midnight Shadow" The two said in unison.

Suddenly everyone collapsed. They were all asleep in their own dreamland. Once everyone was asleep, the two stood up, and walked over to their Yamis. Then Joey and Malik walked into the center of the room. They kneeled, and put their right palms on the ground as well. They closed their eyes and spoke.

"Soul Tracker" Joey said.

"Soul Guide" Malik said.

Everyone's bodies began to lift off the ground and glow. Them the millennium rod and necklace glowed brightly. Then they flew from Seto and Ishizu, and into the hands of Joey and Malik. Then they opened their eyes, which glowed a bright white, and had the eye of horus on their foreheads as well.

"Power of the Millennium Rod" Joey said.

"Power of the Millennium Necklace" Malik said.

The people started to glow brighter.

"Home of the Black Shadow" they said together.

Suddenly everyone vanished off the streets. They were all safely in their homes. Once they were sure of thet, the two stood up and walked to their Yamis.

"Okay, so everyone is safe. Now what" Seto asked.

"We put a barrier around the homes" Joey said.

"How" Marik said.

"We just put up a barrier fog" Malik said.

The four Hikaris closed their eyes, and gathered their magic.

"Black Shadow Mist" they said.

Suddenly the entire city of Kemmet was surrounded by a dark fog. It was like a purple and black mist.

"Wow, what is this" Atem asked.

"It is the remains of shadows from the shadow realm" Yugi said.

"Wow this is so spooky" Bakura said as he moved through the thick fog.

"Okay, so what is next" Atem asked.

"We need blood from our Yamis" Yugi said.

The four Yamis gulped.

"Will it hurt" Bakura asked.

"Yes" Ryou said.

"But, it doesn't have to" Malik said.

"Yeah, we can take your blood, but we will receive the pain instead of you guys" Joey said.

The four Yamis looked at each other and nodded.

"No we will endure it, we don't want to cause you guys pain, so it is worth it" Seto said with a kind smile.

"Okay" Yugi said as he and the other Hikaris went to the center.

The Yamis stood 10 feet in front of them. Then the Hikaris took a deep breath.

"Summon, Twin Golden Blades" Joey said.

Then two golden blades appeared in his hands.

"Summon, Golden Whips" Malik said.

Two golden whips poofed into his hands.

"Summon, Eight Golden Daggers" Ryou said.

Four golden daggers appeared in each of his hands.

"Summon Shadow Blade" Yugi said.

Then a black blade appeared in his right hand.

The four Yamis breaths hitched in their throats. The four Hikaris noticed that the Yamis were still for a moment.

"Don't worry, we won't peirce you guys with these weapons" Yugi smiled.

The four other boys nodded and walked up to them.

"Okay, hold out your arms" Malik said.

The four boys complied. Then the Hikaris put their weapons up against the skin on their Yamis arms. The four hissed and groaned in pain. Suddenly the blades started to go from gold to a deep scarlet. When the weapons were fully turned blood red, they pulled the weapons away. The four "darks" collapsed on the ground. They were breathing heavily from the pain. Then their "lights" put a hand on their backs, and the pain was relieved. They sat up and groaned.

"What did you guys do" Atem asked.

"We took blood from your veins, and the blood entered our weapons. And then we healed you guys to remove the pain" Yugi said.

Once they were fully recovered, they all went to the dinning hall for some food. The moon was almost at it's top, so they decided to eat before the ritual. When they began to eat however, the doors opened to reveal their other friends. Mai, Serenity, Honda, Otogi, Mokuba, and Mana walked in with serious looks.

"What is it" Yugi asked alert.

"They have entered the borders" Mokuba said sternly.

"So it seems. I can sense them nearing" Yugi said.

"What should we do" Mana asked.

"I want you and Otogi to guard the West of the palace. Honda and Mokuba will guard the East, and Mai and Serenity will guard the North" Yugi said.

"What about the south" Mai asked.

"I already have my shadow creatures guarding it" Yugi said.

"How long do you want us to block them" Honda asked.

"Just until after the ritual" Yugi said.

The others nodded and left into the dark and fogged corridor. Once they were done eating, they all went back to the throne room. Once they were there the entire council stood by the throne, while the four boys went to the center of the room. Then Joey took ten steps south, Malik went East, Ryou went West, and Yugi went North. When they were seperated they took in a deep breath. Once the full moon was at it's highest peak, it turned red. Suddenly chains came up from the ground and wrapped around the boys' bodies. Then they were instantly pulled into the crust of earth. The boys were no where in sight, and the council began to worry. Suddenly four sarcophagus were pulled from the earth and we're standing. The sarcophagus were facing the council. The one on the far left was white. The next one was golden. The next was crimson, and the last was lilac. When they all opened, gasps were heard.
