Chapter 27

Yugi was running through the halls looking for the throne room. When he got there he heard the council talking about their battle plans.

"Those have got to be the worst battle plans I have ever heard" Yugi whispered to himself then he ran down the halls once again. He ran until he saw Atem.

"Hello Prince Atem" Yugi bowed.

"Um, hello. Who are you?" Atem asked.

"I'm Yugi" Yugi answered.

"Hello Yugi. What are you doing here" Atem asked.

"I need your help" Yugi said.

"With what" Atem asked.

"I need to borrow your body for a minute" Yugi said blantly, and Atem jumped.

"My body!? What do you want to do with it" Atem exclaimed.

"I just need to convince your father that the battle plans he is doing I'd wrong. If he follows through egypt will fail" Yugi said.

"How do I know I can trust you" Atem asked.

"You don't know, but if you want your father dead then suit yourself" Yugi said.

"W-wait" Atem said "I don't want him dead, so I will trust you" Atem said.

"Ok" Yugi nodded as he held out his hand.

Atem took his hand and their bodies merged.

"Wh-what is going on" Atem asked.

"Don't worry. You're safe. We just share your body now" Yugi said.

"Ok so what do we do" Atem asked.

"You don't do anything. Just let me handle it" Yugi said.

"Alright" Atem said.

Then "Atem" ran down the hallway. They ran to the throne room and corrected the situation. After they were done they went to the garden.

"That was the most boringest meeting I had ever been through" Atem said.

"You get used to it" Yugi said.

Then their body started glowing and they split apart.

"It is good to be back in my own body " Yugi said.

"Yeah" Atem said but soon felt dizzy "Why is everything spinning?" Them he fainted and Yugi caught him. Then Yugi sighed.

"I seriously hate doing this" Yugi said.

"Your not the only one my king" Ryou said popping out if no where.

"Hello Theif Ryou" Yugi greeted.

"So what did you do" Ryou asked.

"I used a spell to erase Atem's memories." Yugi sighed.

"Interesting. Why a spell and not a division" Ryou asked.

"Because a division is ore painful" Yugi said.

"Right, well see you back at headquarters. Bakura just got in trouble again" Ryou said.

"What are you gonna do" Yugi asked suspiciously.

"The usual" Ryou said then vanished.

"Jeez he is scary sometimes" Yugi said picking up Atem. Then they vanished.

The throne room changed into Atem's room.

Yugi had set him down on the bed.

"Till you're king Atem. Till you're king" Yugi said then he vanished.

The throne room became normal.

"Wow" Atem said.

"That was new" Seto said.

"Oh right I almost forgot" Yugi said as he held out his hand. Then a golden crown appeared in his hand.

"Yugi is that" Ryou asked with wide eyes.

"Yup. Here" Yugi said as he handed it to Ryou.

When it was in his hands, he put it on his head and it turned into a light blue color.

"Welcome back theif king" Yugi smirked.

"You know me so well " Ryou said.

"So you wanna go steel some weapons from enemy headquarters" Yugi asked.

"You bet. Let's go" Ryou said.

Then the two vanished.

"Those two will never change" Joey said.

Suddenly the doors opened to reveal a happy Malik and Marik.

"Hey where did the other two go" Malik asked.

"Two words" Joey said as he looked at Malik "Twin Kings!"

Malik's eyes widened.

"No way, seriously" Malik asked shocked.

"Yeah you should have seen it" Joey said.

"What is this about Twin kings you guys are talking about" Bakura asked.

"Okay well you know how Yugi is a king right, and Ryou was a theif" Malik asked.

Everyone nodded.

"Well back when we were younger, Ryou was given the name 'Thief King'. So when Yugi found out, they decided to form a partnership called the "Twin Kings" Malik said.

"Yeah, Ryou would show Yugi how to steel lots of weapons and jewels from the enemy, while Yugi would teach Ryou how to use the weapons to kill a person without spilling blood" Joey said.

"And right now, they are doing just that" Malik said.

"When will they be back" Atem asked.

"Tomorrow morning most likely" Malik said.

"Which reminds me we should probably go to sleep right now, it's gonna be a long day tomorrow" Joey said.

The others nodded and they went their seperated ways.
