Chapter 10- The Festival.

It is now Saturday. Atem woke up to find Yugi gone.

"Yugi" Atem called out, but he got no answer.

Then he began to look around the room, and check the balcony. When he couldn't find Yugi, he decided to change and go to the dining hall to see if Yugi was eating. He didn't see Yugi there either. Malik, Joey, and Ryou were also missing.

"Have you seen Yugi" Atem asked as he took a seat at the table.

"No. We all woke up to find them gone" Seto said.

Then the doors opened to reveal Ra and Ma'at.

"Morning everyone" Ra said as he and Ma'at sat down next to Atem.

"Um, Ra do you by any chance know where our Hikaris are" Atem asked.

"Actually I do. But they said not to tell you or it will ruin everything. They said to tell you they will see you guys during the festival tonight." Ra said.

"Oh, so we won't be able to see them" Atem asked.

"Yes, just wait until the festival Pharoah" Ma'at said.

"Ok" Atem sighed.

Ma'at and Ra looked at Atem strangely. Then Honda entered the room.

"My pharoah" Honda bowed.

"Yes Honda" Atem answered.

"The other royals were wondering if they could come out of there rooms" Honda said.

"They may" Atem said.

Then Honda nodded and left to bring the royals from their rooms. When the council was done eating, they went to the throne room. When they were there that started planning the celebration for tonight. Once they discussed it, they separated to take care of the preparations. Meanwhile Atem began to walk around the palace. Then Atem walked to the gardens for a while. When he got there he saw his friend.

"Hey Mana" Atem smiled.

"Hello Atem" Mana said.

Mana is Atem's friend from when they were younger. Mana is Mahaad's apprentice. She wants to become a magician like Mahaad. She is also in love with Mahaad.

"How are you Mana" Atem asked.

"I'm good. How about you" Mana asked.

"I'm good" Atem smiled as he sat down next to Mana.

"So what have you been doing" Mana asked.

"Not much. I just discovered that my slave is my hikari. My hikari is the son of gods, and is a king. I have to protect him, and he has to protect me. We have to defeat some guy who wants to marry him. And I fell in love with my Hikari" Atem said casually.

"Wait you love Yugi" Mana asked.

"Yeah. But how do you know Yugi" Atem asked confused.

"I met him the same day Mokuba met him." Mana explained.

"Oh" Atem said.

"So are you going to tell him how you feel" Mana asked.

"I will, but when I am ready" Atem said.

"Why don't you tell him tonight" Mana asked him.

"Cause that is way too early. Besides I want it to be special. When I tell him, I am going to take him somewhere special" Atem said.

"So when are you going to tell him" Mana asked.

"Soon Mana, soon" Atem said.

"Fine" Mana said.
