Chapter 11- the Trial

The next morning Atem woke up to find that Yugi was gone. When he couldn't find Yugi, he quickly changed and ran out of the room. Then he got to the dinning hall to see Yugi sitting between Ra and Ma'at.

"Morning Atem " Yugi said.

"Morning Yugi" Atem smiled as he sat down in his seat.

"So what are we going to do today" Atem asked.

"Well first, you have to see the other royals off" Yugi said.

"Then we have to put that host on trial" Ryou said.

"But we will be doing the trial, while you guys watch" Joey said.

"Why don't we get a say in this" Seto asked curiously.

"Because if you use your millennium items to trial him, you will see the truth that he wants you to see, which will be a lie" Yugi said.

The others looked at him confused. Then Yugi sighed.

"Your millennium items can be controlled by him. So if you try to trial him, he will be judging himself to make himself seem innocent" Yugi said.

"Oh" Atem said in realization.

"Besides we want to handle this like we did with other demon trials back in Jelena" Yugi said.

They all nodded, and continued to eat. Then they went to go and see off the other royals.

"Bye Atem" Tea said as she tried to hug him, but he stepped aside and she landed on her face.

She got up and looked shocked. Then she saw that Yugi was with Atem, and not leaving.

"Why aren't you leaving" Tea complained.

"Because I live here with Atem" Yugi smirked.

Then Tea lunged at Yugi in anger. But before she knew it she was on the ground, on her stomach, with Yugi holding her wrist behind her back. Then he whispered to her.

"If you ever try to harm me or Atem, I swear I will kill you" Yugi whispered coldly which mad Tea shudder.

Then he let go and Tea sprinted towards the boat.

"What did you whisper to her" Atem asked.

"Nothing you need to worry about" Yugi simply said.

When all the royals left to their homes, everyone went to the throne room. When they got there everyone was at their usual spot. But Ra and Ma'at were by the throne. They did some trials for the day, until it was time for the final trial with the host.

"Bring in the host" Atem said to two guards.

They nodded and brought the host in.

"Welcome back" Yugi smirked.

"I thought you died" Kiriha said.

"It takes more than a few whips to kill me Kiriha Sakato" Yugi said.

"So what are you gonna do. I mean it is already obvious that I hurt you" Kiriha said.

"Yes that is true and you will be punished" Yugi smirked.

"As if anything you do will hurt me" Kiriha said.

"Oh I wouldn't be sure about that" Yugi smirked.

Then Kiriha got a feeling of fear. Suddenly a stone wall with the eye of horus on it appeared. Then Ryou, Malik, Joey, and Yugi stepped forward with their arms crossed over their chests. Then Yugi held out his hands towards the wall.
