Chapter 40.
Zale leaned against Chiron's desk, his shirt off whilst he applied some healing slave to his wound, wincing a little from the pain, as Chiron glared at him.
There was a knock on the door followed by Percy's voice and he immediately dropped it, sitting on the black couch as Chiron opened the door for him.
Percy entered the room, rolling his shoulder coward to ease the tension, whilst eyeing Zale on the couch. He stood in the corner of the room, waiting for Chiron to explain.
Chiron spots behind his desk in his wheelchair, looking between Percy and Zale.
"What is the issue here?" He said calmly, trying to get them to talk.
"Why didn't you tell me about the war?" Percy started off first.
"I was simply waiting for the right time. You've been through a lot Percy, and I didn't want to burden you any more than I should."
"So you blindly trust some stranger who shows up?" He tilted his head towards the curly haired boy on the couch.
"Zale is not a stranger. Sure he may be a stranger to camp, but I've been watching him all these years. We can trust him, Percy."
"Tell me the truth Chiron. The entire truth. The entire prophecy if there is one. What is going on?" He sat on the opposite end of the couch, trying to keep as far away from Zale as possible, but also standing his ground that he wouldn't leave the office until he's had his answer.

Whilst Chiron was explaining, and trying to get Zale and Percy on the same page, Jay burst through the door, almost bumping into the sofa .
They all looked at him at once, Chiron a little more angry than the others as he tried to catch his breath.
"Chiron, did Priya say anything about leaving?" He breathed deeply.
Chiron tilted his head, looking in between Zale and Percy, who looked worried.
"No she did not. Are any of you aware of this?" He looked between them again, as they shook their heads. Percy confirmed that she was at their table for breakfast, But none of them had seen her since.
Jay and Zale looked at each other, knowing that this was part of what they expected but they didn't think it would've been so soon. Percy stormed out of the office, as Chiron shouted behind him, trying to clear his head, as he searched every corner of camp. Annabeth, Will and Edward had joined in on the search, and a few other campers who then split into smaller groups to cover a wider territory.
They all met back at the dining pavilion for dinner, but none of the groups had returned with her. No one had seen her since and Percy was losing hope. How could she just disappear like that? No one saw her?
After dinner, everyone gathered around the campfire, though it shone a mixture of black and blue, representing the different moods of the campers.
Jay sat on the first row staring at the flames thinking about Priya, as the other campers cleared out into their own groups.
"Hey," Aria smiled lightly as she sat next to him, and he nodded in response. "I'm sorry. We tried look everywhere and couldn't find her. I know how much she meant to you."
"Thanks for looking," he replied nicely, though that was the last thing he wanted to do. He wanted to be out there searching for her, but Zale had told him that once this happened, the war would follow soon after. Only this time, they didn't expect that it would be Priya missing.
"Jay..." she trailed off, as he held her hand, turning his body to face her.
"Aria, you don't want this. You don't want me. It's just my powers acting on you. You don't want it," he tried to be gentle.
