it's an off day for igor so i decided to relax with him and bake some muffins for the week.
i grabbed my recipe book that my mom had given me and opened it to the chocolate chip muffins page.
i got out the necessary ingredients and started the oven so it can heat up.
igor came up behind me and started baking with me. he grabbed the bowl and mixed the flour and the sugar together.
i mixed the milk and eggs together in a separate bowl. i put
on some light music in the background to play while we were working.
once the two bowls were well mixed, i put the milk and egg mix into the dry bowl and igor mixed those together as i got the baking sheet out.
the music turned to some slower music just as the oven beeped to signal that the muffins were ready to go in.
igor put them in the oven and i started cleaning up our space.
once the muffins were in the oven, i said. "thanks for helping."
"of course." he came over to me and placed his hands on my waist and i put my arms around his neck.
he started moving us gently to the music and soon, we were dancing.
he spun me and dipped me a few times.
we just enjoyed being so close to each other. this never happens often. we always try to make the most of the time we have together.
we swayed and swayed for what felt like hours. it was just what we needed.
the oven beeped and igor stepped away and got the muffins out of the oven.
we talked while we waited for the muffins to cool. once the were, we had our first taste of the muffins.
and damn, we were going to have some good muffins for the next week.
