"babe? you alright in there?" jack said from the other side of the bathroom door.

"yeah, i'm good thanks." i said back to him.

"okay. just wanted to make sure you were okay love." i heard his footsteps walking away from the door.

thank god he didn't walk in here. the pregnancy test isn't done yet. i didn't want him seeing it if it was negative.

my phone timer beeped and i looked at the result. 'pregnant', was the answer. oh my god. oh my gosh.

"jack! come here!" soon, jack as opening the bathroom door and i was hiding the test behind my back.

"what happened?" he asked frantically.

i put the test in his hand and he looked at it, very confused. i can tell it clicked in his head and he looked at me in shock.

"really? no way." he shook his head.

"yes really. i'm pregnant." he smiled so wide and hugged me.

"oh my god, i can't believe it. ty's going to die." i laughed when he mentioned ty.

two weeks later

"we should go to a doctor sometime to find out the gender." i said as i walked into our room.

"oh yeah! when do you wanna do that?" he asked me.

"we could go now." i shrugged.

"let's go then." he stood up and walked to the entrance to get his shoes on.

we got to the pregnancy doctor and they got us ready to find out the gender.

"okay, healthy baby. and it looks like it's a girl! congratulations!" the doctor smiled.

i look at jack and he was beaming with excitement.

we ended up going to the store right after and jack was so excited to be having a girl.

"oh my god, y/n. look." jack said and pointed to the girl section of the baby store.

we got a lot of girl clothes and some gender neutral items and brought them home.

while we were on our way home, jack kept saying how excited he was to be having a girl and being a girl dad.

things like, "i can't believe it! i'm going to be a girl dad!"

"my mom would be so excited! she's finally getting the girl she's always wanted."

"she's going to be so loved."

he's excited about being a girl dad and i'm excited for us and for him.

and he's right, she's going to be so loved.
