"WAIT, STEVE? AS IN STEVE HARRINGTON, LIKE MY BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD, STEVE HARRINGTON?"

Jonathan nod at Jack.

The boys were back at the shed, just relaxing and catching Jack up with the lasted style and new. It's been 2 days since both Jack and Jonathan had the discussion. They both agreed that Jack will be able to stay for a couple more days and leave before the week ends.

During their time, the pair had set up a plan to get Jack some shelter after he leaves. The plan was to get him to a motel that Jonathan will rent, in case there were cameras. Then lay low for a couple more days then get Jack out of town. Jonathan wants to help the boy get away from Hawkins.

"Yea, he's dating Nancy" Jonathan says.

"That is no way!" Jack was shocked. He remember the quiet girl that sat in front of the classroom. Nancy didn't talk to no one and became a loner for a couple of years before she met Barb.

Jack wonder how Nancy, the quietest girl that he know, got with his, loud mouth, best friend.

Jonathan just laugh at his reaction. But something in Jack's eyes seems sad whenever Jonathan mention Steve in their conversation.

"You know..." Jonathan hesitates. He didn't wanna trigger him.

"You can ask about him" Jack knew who he's talking about. He misses his friend dearly and he was glad that Steve was still live in Hawkins. But the thought of not seeing him, hurts.

Jack took a deep breath as he looks away.

"How is he?"

"He's good. He's the most popular kid in school right now" Jonathan says.
