THE SOUND OF ELECTRICITY AND SCREAMING FILLED THE ROOM.
A 13 year boy is hunched over in the corner of the room as Dr. Brenner and the guards glare down at him. The boy cries and shouts in pain as an electric shock casts down on him.
“This is your punishment Twelve. You should’ve known better than to disobey me” Dr. Brenner held down the button as Jack spasm on the floor. Earlier, both the doctor and the boy were in a training room, experimenting with his power. It was easy at first; like crush cans, moving books and levitating weights. Then Dr. Brenner brought in a living rabbit and ordered him to kill it. Jack refused but the doctor didn’t care and ordered him again. Eventually, he gave him and started hurting the rabbit, but once it screeched in pain, Jack immediately stopped. The man tries to force him but he won’t budge. Then Dr. Brenner snapped and Jack was dragged into the punishment room.
Now, the blonde was fighting to stay awake as controlled shocks pulse throughout his body. He hears the guards laughing at his pain. He knew that Dr. Brenner and the guards weren’t very fond of him. He notices how they treat all of the other children; kinder and calmer. Dr. Brenner treats the other children like his kids; treating them with respect, talking with a softer tone, giving them gifts. While they treat Jack like a piece of garbage. To be fair, the boy wasn’t fond of them either.
Finally, the man let go of the button, letting the boy breathe. The collar around his neck is sticking to his skin as sweat drips down to the ground. His throat felt like a hundred knives were scratching down his neck and his body was quivering in pain.
