JACK ABRUPTLY WOKE UP FROM HIS SLEEP AS KNOCKING POUND AGAINST HIS DOOR.
He groaned, rising up from his bed and stocking over to the door. Jack swings open the door to see Max and Eleven standing at his door.
"Someone better be dying or I swear-" Jack yawns.
"We need your help" Eleven cuts him off. It slightly woke the teen up more. He straightened his back and became more concerned.
"What happened?" Jack asked.
"We were playing a game last night and El used her power to spy on Billy. She thinks something bad happened. We were going to check it out, but she insisted on bringing you too" Max explained. Jack scans both of them and they seem to be dressed and ready to go.
"Wait. You are telling me that you woke me up because you want to me to help check up your douchebag brother-"
"Step brother" Max corrected.
"Right... Step brother. Just to see if anything happened"
"Yes" Eleven said.
"I know it sounds weird but can you come?" Jack looked back to his clock and it was 7:35 am. He's supposed to meet Dustin, Robin and Steve back at Scoops Ahoy in an hour and half. But the girls need his help.
"Fine. Give me a minute to change" the girls smiled before letting Jack close the door. He rubs the tiredness from his eyes as he gets ready.
It was only a check up. He'll still be able to get to the ice cream shop on time.
