ELEVEN GASPS FOR AIR AS SHE RETURNS BACK TO THE REAL WORLD WITH TEARS STREAMING DOWN HER FACE.
She looks over at Mike, who immediately pulls her into a bear hug. He whispers comforting words and sweet nothings into her ear.
“What the hell happened?” they hear Lucas ask. Eleven pulls away from Mike, wiping away her tears.
“Billy, he saw me. He said that he was building something. And it was all for me and Jack but then he left. The connection broke. I–I don't know why.” Eleven said.
“That’s why” Max nods over at Jack, who still had his eyes closed.
“W-what is he doing?” Eleven scooch next to him, confused.
“He said that he was going to get you away from the Mind Flayer but… why isn’t he waking up?” Will chimed in.
“I don’t know and I don’t like it” Jonathan moves over to wake up his buddy. But before he could touch the blonde, Mike grabs his wrist and shoves it away. The group loudly protested and yelled at the boy in utter confusion.
“What are you doing?” They all yelled.
“Don’t wake him up” Mike demanded.
“Why not? He got El out. He should be waking up” Nancy said.
“Just give him a minute”
“What do you mean ‘a minute’? He’s hurt. He shouldn’t be using his powers in the first place!” Jonathan exclaims, increasingly getting worried by the second.
