THE WORD QUICKLY SPREAD THROUGHOUT THE TOWN.
It's been the talk for the past 2 days. Town's news, radios, gossip and soon the newspaper are talking about the missing child.
Jack stroll down Hawkins' streets with his hood up and head laying low. Wearing his regular hood, sunglasses and jeans.
"Have you heard?"
"How can you not. Everyone has been talking about it" he overheard 2 ladies discusses as he enter in a liquor store.
The sound of the radio blasting the latest music filled the building. There were only a few people inside along with him. Jack didn't take long before heading towards the donut section and picking out a few. He head towards the counter and waited for the employee to ring him up.
"Sorry to cut in between songs, but in Hawkins, a child is reported missing. There is a missing boy that goes by the name of Will Byers" Jack snapped his attention towards the radio
"Byers" he mutter. Jonathan had the same last name. He mentioned a brother but never said his name.
"Can you believe it? Another kid gone missing" clerk said.
Jack break his attention away from the radio.
"Yeah, it's messed up" he reply.
"Something was always off about this town. It remind me when that kid that disappeared 7 years ago..." Jack tense.
"What was his name?... was it Julain, James, Jake-"
"Jack" Jack said with a croak in his throat. Tears sting in his eyes, luckily he had his shades on.
