"RISE AND SHINE"

Hopper stood by the doorway, looking at the kids. Jack sneaked into Eleven’s room after the whole incident with Steve. He didn't tell her what happened but she knew that he was upset. Eleven didn’t press for questions and let him sleep next to her.

Jack wasn’t upset about the kiss. He liked it, maybe even loved it. After a few months, Jack finally figured out why he felt a certain way when he was around Steve. It was different from their childhood. But he hated the situation where the kiss happened. Steve was upset about his fight with Nancy and he got emotional, so he decided to kiss the blonde. It was the heat of the moment.

At least that’s what Jack thought.

The pair look over to Hopper and turn away. Eleven scooch closer to the teen, avoiding the man’s stare.

“So that’s it, huh? You’re still not talking?” Hopper felt guilty about what happened between them. He knew how much the compromise meant to the both of them and he ruined it. He understands why Jack shouted at him and why Eleven was ignoring him. It was his fault. So he hopes to make it up to them.

''Alright. I guess I’m just gonna have to, uh, enjoy this triple decker eggo extravaganza on my own” Hopper caught their attention and left the room. The triple decker eggo extravaganza was an eggo dish that Jack made out of boredom. Even though it was filled with candy, chocolate and whipped cream, it was surprisingly good. Jack urged Eleven to try his masterpiece and she fell in love with it. Hopper liked it as well, but didn’t really like the amount of sweets. So they only make it on special occasions, like birthdays, holidays, … apologies.
