~a few days later~
Nezu's POV:
I was just relaxing in the school having a sip of tea, when all of a sudden I heard a loud bang. "What on earth could that be?" I asked myself. I headed outside to see what all the commotion was and saw Aizawa pacing around angrily in the hallways."You know you could go home now, right Aizawa?" I said. Aizawa looked at me with anger. "I mean," I explained, "it's kind of embarrassing that you're still here while all the other teachers already went home."
Aizawa looked at me with confusion, "then why are you still here?" "I was going to go home," I explained, "but then I noticed you weren't leaving. Which is weird because you're usually the first one out; so I decided to stay to see what was bothering you so deeply." Technically I wasn't lying, I was about to leave, but I stayed longer because of the tea and Aizawa.
He sighed, he knew there was no point in hiding the truth from me, I was going to find out eventually. In fact, I already knew the answer and just wanted him to admit that he cared about his students just as much as I did.
"Fine, I guess I'll tell you what's going on. First off, Jiro's been acting strange lating, he's more happier than usual, he seems like he's getting dumber, he doesn't remember things I've told him and he's been acting a lot like Kaminari lately and get this, him and Kaminari got the same answers on the test, but the whole time, they didn't even glance at each other. I've been up all night trying to figure it out and staying after school to go through his files and see if anything's changed, but no luck. The only thing that's changed is his pronouns which is also weird because he didn't give any hint that he wanted to be a guy until now!"
I looked at Aizawa with a proud expression I knew he cared, but I never expected him to admit it. "Wow Aizawa, I didn't know that you cared so deeply about your students!" I lied. Aizawa sighed, "please don't make a big deal out of it.." I shook my head, "don't worry I won't, and besides, we've got bigger things to worry about." Aizawa looked at me with concern, "what do you mean by that?"
I laughed, that was a silly question, "Aizawa you said it yourself, Jiro's been acting strange and we need to get to the bottom of it. So, I've decided to hold a teacher and student meeting to figure out what's been going on!" Aizawa looked at me with confusion, "but Nezu you said it yourself, all the teachers left already and the students are probably long gone by now.."
I looked at him with a smirk, that was another lie I told him. I reached into my pocket and pressed a button. The wall opened up and all the teachers and students were there just like the buttons original intent. Aizawa looked at the teachers and students with shock, "what the... how long have we had that?"
I chuckled to myself, "you underestimate how much free time me and Power Loader have!" Power Loader smiled at the mention of his name. "But wait!" Aizawa said looking at me, "I thought all the teachers left."
"Well you see," I explained, "I noticed something seemed off about Jiro as well. So, I called on all the teachers to stay after school for a interview and called the students to stay over before they left and don't worry, I have notified all the parents so they will know why they're child has stayed after school."
Aizawa's face widened as he realized something, "wait, why did you tell me to confess what was going on if you already knew?" I laughed, "I wanted you to admit that you cared about your students is that so hard to ask?" Aizawa sighed, but then he realized something else, "say where's Jiro?"
Out of all the students, Jiro was the only one who wasn't there. I sighed, "sadly, we don't have the budget to create a machine to see what goes on inside people's heads, but even if we did, people rely too much on quirks so I'm afraid such a thing wouldn't exist."
"Then why not get someone with that type of quirk?" Aizawa asked. I shook my head, "sadly that quirk is very rare and the villains took that to their advantage and recruited the person with that type of quirk. So, even if we brought Jiro here it would be impossible for us to get the information out of her without some sort of tool to help us."
Aizawa sighed, he knew what I was talking about. For he too tried to get the information out of Jiro, but with no luck. "And how can you be so sure the students will give us the information we need? For all we know, Jiro could've told them not to tell anyone and they're his friends so obviously they'll listen to him!"
I smiled, "you underestimate how much these kids care for Jiro. They would do anything to make sure she's happy, even if it means ratting her out because they care for their friends needs. Tell me Aizawa, what would you do if your friend told you they were being abused at home?"
Aizawa shrugged, "I would tell the authorities and make sure they stay at a better home." "Even if they told you not to tell anyone about the situation at home?" I asked. "I don't care!" Aizawa got mad, "they deserve to be placed in a better home, no one should have to live like that no matter how good the intentions of the parents seem to be!"
I smiled at Aizawa, I've never been so proud, "that's exactly how these kids feel Aizawa. They know that Jiro doesn't want them to worry, but they worry anyways because they're good friends and would stop at nothing to comfort her. Even if it means Jiro gets mad at them for it, because that's what friends do!"
Aizawa looked as his students smiling faces, they all wanted to help Jiro with whatever she was going through no matter the cost. "That's class 1-A for you," Aizawa smiled, "alright then, let's begin."
