Chapter 25: The Aftermath

Jiro's POV:
"You might be wondering what happened after that. Well, I'll tell you." I said to them. "First of all, I became very popular at school with everyone talking about what happened and relating to it in one way or another. Second of all, I ended up doing more and more hero work and by the time I graduated I became a very well known hero, but you probably already know that since you're the one who asked for this interview."

The interviewer smiled, "yeah, but please, don't let that stop you from counting this story. It's getting really interesting now!" I smiled, it was getting interesting. "Tell is what happened to the other classmates, or that villain who attacked you, or your relationship with Chargebolt!"

"Well, they all became heroes too. Expect for Mineta, who got arrested for sexual harassment, or Ayoma who was arrested once everyone found out he was the traitor." I said. "As for the villain who attacked me, they ran more tests on him and apparently the reason he's a villain is because as a kid, he took over a lot of bullies to make them stop bullying people, but over time, he started becoming more and more like the bullies due to his quirk and became the exact thing he hated; a villain."

The interviewer gasped. "Don't worry though," I said, "after he realized this, he turned over a new leaf and became good again."

"And what about Chargebolt?" The interviewer asked.

"Well, as you know, he asked to go on a date with me and I said yes." I said. "I never realized how much he loved or supported me until then. We went to so many places together like restaurants, movies, parks, and we would talk for hours."

The interviewer couldn't stop smiling as I explained our dating life.

"Then what?" She asked.

I smiled, "We dated for five years until he finally popped the question. I said yes, of course and now, we're married." Me and Denki looked at each other with love in our eyes and the interviewer couldn't help but squeal.

"Tell me, are you planning to have children anytime soon?" She asked.

We got flustered. "Well, we definitely want children," Denki explained, "but we're not planning on having them anytime soon."

"So when are you gonna have kids?" She asked.

"We're gonna wait a few years before we fully jump into having kids." I said.

"Alright," she said sighing.

She must have really wanted us to have kids.

"Tell me Earphone Jack, did you ever expect you'd get this far?" She asked.

I sighed, "to be honest I didn't. I always thought I would be a small time hero. I never dreamed of being as well known as I am and even though I'm not as popular as some of my other classmates the fact that I'm even here today is absolutely mind blowing to me."

The interviewer smiled, "did you ever get over your fear of living by yourself?"

"As a matter of fact I did," I said, "after everything that's happened to me, I learned that I should be more proud of myself. There's only one Kyoka Jiro and I want to keep it that way. We can't have two of the same people walking around or that would just be confusing."

The interviewer chuckled, "I guess you're right." She looked over at the camera, "well folks, that concludes Earphone Jack's interview. This is Catherine Jones; signing off."

Everyone cheered and me and my husband smiled. Before today, I never thought people would like me, yet here I was everyone crowding over me and asking me for my autograph.

If there's one thing I learned from all this, it's to be yourself and don't change yourself for other people because you might lose yourself along the way.

I sighed, I still can't believe it took eighteen years for me to figure out that, but I've realized that no matter how old you are, there is still always room for learning.

A/N: before I end this story I would like to explain what happened just in case some of you didn't understand. This whole story was Jiro explaining her life to the interviewer which is why everything was past tense because she was referring something that happened in the past.

In actuality, Jiro is twenty-five years old retelling when she was seventeen. I wasn't originally planning on doing this, but I thought it would make the story more interesting and I really like how it turned out. So sorry if it was confusing.
