Sorry about this one... It's super short, and a serious filler.... yeah....
Anyhoo
Here ya go...

The control room was filled with the quiet hum of people at work. All the computers were up and running, and people were doing their jobs. There were people looking after everything from global radiation signatures, to inter-galactic energy bursts. The buzz of the computers sounded constantly, occasionally a beep or two interrupting the peace.
It was a regular day at SHIELD, trying to hunt down every, and any, threat. Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton stood to the side in the main boardroom, talking and laughing in hushed tones. Nick Fury was talking to Maria Hill about emergency e-vac plans. The rest of the room was scanning for threats across the globe.
But Fury’s mind was elsewhere. Drifting between thoughts of a certain young agent and the terrorist group with which she had direct experience. RHOKA were slowly, but surely growing in power, with some ex-HYDRA stooges on their side. SHIELD needed ex-agent Clarke’s help, but after everything that she had gone through each time that she interacted with SHIELD, the chances of her helping were so diminished that it was borderline foolish to hope for her help in this matter.
All of a sudden, without warning, Tony Stark rushed in with the news that RHOKA had struck, taking ex-agent Clarke with them, setting Fury even further off-kilter. He tried to process this new information through his oddly scattered mind, but he couldn’t think. He was caught in the crossfire of too many conflicting thoughts. He should never have involved such a young agent as Clarke. It had upset his internal balance.
Sensing that Fury wasn’t in his right frame of mind, Agent Hill immediately took charge, organising calls to each and every one of the Avengers, all of whom showed up in minutes. Tony was on edge since he arrived, unable to sit down, unable to stand still. Agents Barton and Romanoff were acting similarly. On hearing the news, Thor, Dr. Banner and Captain Rodgers were flipped into ‘protection’ mode, worry completely masking their faces, but somehow, not clouding their judgement. The whole room was weighed down by the tense air at the news.
‘We have to go in and rescue her.’ Stark exclaimed, looking up at Fury, who had his back turned as usual. Tony sighed exasperatedly before turning to the others.
‘Does no-one else agree? They don’t want her dead, if they did, they would have just shot her in cold blood. They’re not going to hold her for ransom, which means that they’re probably just going to torture her. And I for one, don’t feel comfortable sitting around, discussing, when we could be out there, finding her.’ He huffed and sat down in a chair, running a hand through his hair.
Steve walked over to him and patted his shoulder. ‘We will Stark, we just need to plan, we don’t know what RHOKA is capable of. Fury?’ he called. Nick turned around and looked at the Captain. ‘What’s our plan?’ Steve asked.
The whole room filled with an anticipatory silence, waiting to jump into action at the Directors’ orders. Nick dropped his gaze in thought before raising his head and straightening up to look Steve in the eye from across the room.
‘There is no plan. None of you or any of SHIELD’s agents have any permission to storm RHOKA’s base, wherever that may be. I’m not going to risk the best team that I have on a suicide mission.’ He said with finality. Stark twirled his phone in his hands in thought.
‘So we’re the best team you have, huh?’ he asked. Fury turned his glare to him and Stark continued, unphased, putting his phone down on the table.
‘If we’re the best, and you’re not going to let us go, then who the hell will you send?’ he asked, sending his own glare right back to Fury.
‘Ooooh! Right! So she’s meant to... I don’t know... just... magically escape?’ Stark asked, raising his voice slightly in annoyance.
‘She did before.’ Fury replied, causing Stark to scoff.
‘Yeah, because she had to, because you screwed up! If you think that they’d kill us, I... I can’t even begin to imagine what they plan on doing to her.’ He said angrily, scowling.
Fury took a slow, deep breath, in an attempt to control his anger.
‘None of you are going in, and that is final. You are dismissed.’ He said. The whole team was about to argue, but stopped when Fury stared them down. Tony was the first to get up and leave, Steve following close behind. As soon as they were out, in the corridor, Steve turned to Tony.
‘So what are we going to do?’ he asked, while they walked, soon being joined by Thor and Dr. Banner. Tony sighed.
‘I don’t know about you guys, but I’m going to find her and rescue her. I don’t care what Fury has to say about it.’ Steve nodded beside him.
They heard running behind them, and seconds later, Natasha and Clint were walking beside them. They all nodded to each other, and Clint spoke up.
‘We’re going to do something, right?’ he asked, slinging his bow and quiver over his shoulder. Steve nodded in reply.
‘Right. No way are we going to leave her to fend for herself.’ He said, his captain side coming out in full force. Tony led them up the stairs, to the roof where a SHIELD jet was waiting for them. Clint overtook the others, stepping into the jet first.
‘I’ll fly.’ He said as he disappeared in the door. The others climbed in, Steve closing the door after them, praying that they weren’t too late.
