Herbology was draining Lilianas lifeline, every runner they cut and fertiliser they dug made her more tired and bored than she thought possible. Her hair was a state, thrown up on whatever hair tie could fit around it and her posture was diminishing, she couldn't stop the garrish nightmare about her friends and family, it was suffocating. Her thoughts of impending boredom were interrupted by Penny slipping a basket of small bottles into her hands, "For the nightmares." She winked and Liliana stared blankly at her for a few seconds before realising what she was given. She jumped up and hugged her friend while overloading her with kisses, she was too tired to act too independent for help and the match was fast approaching, she needed rest and even Skye had noticed her worsening practice.

She ran into the Slytherin common room at lunch, not caring she was about to skip out on half the day of lessons. She particularly skipped into her bed and chugged two of the potions penny gave her, just to be safe. Slowly the dark green interior of her dorm began swirling into one block of sea moss green before everything went black.

Liliana was out cold until 6 the next morning, she got dressed early bring careful not to wake her dormmates, she slowly cracked her trunk and wardrobe shut while violently brushing her teeth, her hair was still a crazed mess but throwing it in a single ponytail hid how unbrushed and minimally cared for it truly was.

She went into the common room to see half the quidditch team all sitting around the coffee table,
"Nice of you to join us, Liliana!" Orion chimed with a wide smile.

"Yeah only took you half an hour." Skye rolled her eyes and turned back to the group.

Liliana stared at them in confusion, she didn't know of any meeting but maybe the deep sleep crowded her memory, or she was just plain forgetful. She went to sit next to Skye who was still in her pyjamas. "If you had taken 30 minutes aswell you wouldn't look like you woke up in the middle of a field." She looked up and down at her friends outfit who narrowed her eyes, Murphy laughed before aggressively hitting his blackboard.

The small group of  5 went into attention. The three were joined by two other boys who were the 2nd beater, Tank, and the new chaser, Davide. Tank wasn't nearly as skilled or quick, as previously proven, compared to Liliana but he was plain strong which is sometimes what you needed on a team.

"You have to work simultaneously, Beaters you need to attack every one of them and early in the game hassle the keeper, Tank. Liliana keep aware of the seeker she's quick and new so don't underestimate her, but stay close on the other teams chasers. Chasers, you have to trust Liliana and Tank will keep you mostly safe, use all three of you, don't be selfish with the ball."

They all nodded along in agreement following Murphys tactics, kids gradually began entering from the dorms and the meeting concluded dispersing the quidditch team.

Liliana sat on large leather seats for a short while, She draped her feet over the armrest and silently read a charms theory book. She was interrupted by small giggles and a strong scent of vanilla travelling to her, Pamela and her dog lookalike friend Pucey came to sit opposite her, their voices were shrill and were clearly slagging Liliana  off since it was loud enough for anyone moderately near by to hear but she tried not paying attention.

Barnaby and Evan emerged from the boys dorms with wet soppy hair and messy uniforms. Liliana practically jumped from her seat as they approached.

"Finally, let's go."

"Why are you up this early?" Barnaby asked with a smile. He was always happy, sometimes too happy for the early morning.
