Care of magical creatures sounds fun, enjoyable, interesting. Though in reality 1 out of 5 lessons had them introduced to new creatures or drawing and the other 4 had them clearing up after Kettleborns untrained pets and just searching the grounds when one went missing.
She was walking through the edge of the forest with Charlie and Jae, some of the only Gryffindors she could stand, their bodies were thrown together from the angry mountain winds while they walked out of a small clearing looking for a recently escaped fire crab. The thing wasn't even meant to be in a forest really, she assumed it felt uncomfortable without good access to both dry earth or sand and water since you know... that's it's natural habitat.
She was more upset searching was taking up 2 hours of her Thursday than the unjust of removing it from the beach Kettleborn originally found him at but one problem would get her odd looks, the other general support. She often found herself disagreeing with the majority but that wouldn't have her as many peers so willing to help with the vaults so often her vocal opinion might differ.
Her hair was loose from its usual pony, it draped along her back in tight frizzled curls that made the bright winter sun reflect across it like it did the snow, her robes were tightly pulled around her body, sucking in at her waist as she trudged through the white blanketed Scottish forest.
Jae was walking beside her with chattering teeth and a torn Gryffindor jumper as his only warmth, he was clinging between her and Charlie like an aggressively prepared sandwhich as he pulled them both to his sides.
"I need to practice my weather resistance for when I deal with clients in the arctic." Lilianas eyes shallowed at him as he sat across from her on the log benches, if they didn't stink of fertiliser the area would be nice.
"Or get a coat?"
"Dragons are only known to breath fire so I have no reason to be exposed to this bloody, piss cold-"
"You're pasty Charlie, your ginger self is built for this." Jae butted in raising a finger, his long fringe had settled snowflakes balancing between the strands of hair like ice skaters do on a single blade, his fringe had less of the usual volume falling across his eyes. he frantically nodded his head forwards and backwards in hope of warming a little, he hadn't fully been exposed to the Scottish cold like this yet and the 3 still had 2 hours of searching to commence.
Liliana sighed at the two, her eyes bags were savagely deep exposing her skin to a never before seen purple beneath them. She tapped her fingers against the circular table as they say, trying to move her body however she could before they were sent off. "You'll be killed by a weirdo with one leg and a cursed existence from a dark ambulate before you get to do business in other countries, love."
"That was specific." Charlie murmured biting his lower lip to stop a quiver.
"But likelihood I sold him the dark ambulate, so it means I died rich..." he offered with a sly grin. Liliana rolled her eyes as the three were told by the Professor to run along the whole north boarder.
So now, an hour later the three were all greatly regretting their choice to not have run off and ditch lessons inside the castle.
"I hate Scotland." Jae shouted while kicking a large pile of slushed ice, he then let out a loud moan when his foot became drenched in water.
"Child." Liliana muttered with a grin as she saw him wince while clinging onto her green sleeves.
"Loath is more like it." Charlie offered throwing food along their trail in hopes the crab might follow them or the way back to the lesson Grounds.
Loud brisling and snapping branches suddenly came from the edge of the woods, the three turned their heads to see a furious storm of red and gold as Ben ran from the Burroughs of trees, tripping and sliding across the whitened floor as he sprinted across the grounds.
