seven • 'suicide is a boring way to die'

The two had continued talking into the night until the faint glow of the sun became Visible as the early morning came around. Liliana didn't dislike him as much as she would like to admit, she found herself enjoying his never ending sarcasm and menacing smirk. Talbott walked with Liliana to her dorm, a rare act of affection from the likes of him, but she welcomed it.

16th October 1987

Liliana was now groaning as she lay in bed, she could hear the other girls getting ready as the sound of their feet and sleepy voices ran through the walls while they flooded into the toilets and bickered. She pushed her body upwards and lay her bare feet onto the cold stone floor of her dorm, she winced slightly at the sudden temperature change and stood. She had gotten little, if not zero, sleep and was lazily dragging her limbs as she got dressed.

Her shirt was only half buttoned up when Sky barged in. She seemed to pay no mind to Liliana's half bare body, "You will not believe what Orion just said to me!" She said jumping onto Liliana's bed. Liliana stayed quiet  as Sky continued to vent. "He was like 'oh you aren't at peace with yourself so you can't play quidditch to your full potential'." Skys impression of his voice was sleezy and painfully inaccurate making Liliana grin. Sky continued on, "Full potential my arse. I don't know what his problem is but I guarantee it has something to with a certain plant." Liliana loudly laughed, she had thought the same herself since only those high on something ever appeared to be as free spirited as Orion. But she soon learned there was no interesting reason for his behaviour, he was just that weird.
"LILIANA YOU DID NOT." She shot her head round to see Sky holding a thick blue scarf that was previously thrown across her bed, she scolded herself for not putting it away and worse for keeping it.

"If you mutter a single bloody word I'll tell your dad about your broom." Liliana threatened,

"I would never tell anyone about this! Well now I won't." Sky corrected herself, she loved a bit of drama especially when it concerned others but she wouldn't dare risk her Dad finding out about her drunk flying into the astrology tower.

Liliana finished buttoning her shirt in a hurry, "It's not actually a boys or anything it's just a friends." Skys eyebrows raised in disbelief, she might be failing half her classes but she wasn't that stupid. "I was cold, ok?"

"That does not help your case." Sky grinned standing up. She walked over to Liliana and threw the scarf around her neck while humming. "Do you think your boyfriends going to come support the next match?" She asked Cheekily, Sky predicted Liliana's response and was already running out the door as a pillow was thrown at her. She left laughing as Liliana glared after her. She stood in her room with a small scowl, she was weirdly defensive about the idea of having a boyfriend but she didn't think much of it.

Her bushy white hair was thrown into a tight ponytail, it practically added 3 inches to her height and was always noticeable, everyone knew of the wild white haired curse breaker, and she liked it. Liliana loved that most students were scared or intimidated by her and she often used it to get information she wanted, Penny was the charmer, she was the interrogator.

She made her way to the great hall, the glares of 'Slytherin's Finest' followed her as she sat, the burning of their eyes on her was uncomfortable but Liliana refused to engage.

"LILIANA!" Rowan loudly announced as she hugged her friend. "I had no idea what happened are you ok? Did the spell I teach you work? Did Merula actually help you?" The bombarshion of questions was slightly overwhelming but Rowan deserved  an explanation.

"Yes to all three." She responded while grabbing a handful of hash browns and eggs.

Merula walked in a few moments later and the eyes of all the Slytherins quickly turned to her, in the end they both hexed the two boys and were bound to face the consequences eventually. She came to sit next to Liliana with a smug look on her face.
"This is amazing Gutierrez!"
