School has officially ended but many students, including half of Lilianas friends, were Staying over Christmas and also for the sole purpose of attending the ball.

It was finally the night of the ball, snow had been gradually falling throughout the day and the night sky started out clear allowing all the stars to shine. All three of Lilianas dorm mates; Rowan, Kate and Liz had gone home so she had to get ready with Merula and Ismelda.

Liliana knew Rowan was close with her family, she had visited her many times during the summers, but her days still seemed slightly empty without her so the selfish part of her heart wanted Rowan to stay.

Loud rock music was being bellowed from Merulas speaker as the girls finished getting ready. Raged screams in the background of their elegant dresses was of course a weird sight though, Ismelda was zipping up Merulas dress while Liliana was fixing her hair.

Merula wore a slick silk green dress that fell to the floor and Ismelda had on a black a line dress, she had styled her fringe to the side and Liliana was finished giving her bouncy curls through the back, she was showing off her whole face for once and was clearly excited by the way her skin was glowing.

Liliana had a deep navy blue gown on, it's scooped straps exposed her back and the deep v across the front displayed cleavage from her clear mole covered skin. The dress was intricately made with additions of lace and jewels along the fabrics, her mum might have tried isolating them from wizarding society but she was always one for appearances and supplied her daughter with more formal dresses than actual cloths. The dress had a long layered skirt with sapphire Blue embroidery below the more sheer first fabrics, whenever the light hit it the stones shone and the tall slit along the skirt would present her thigh when moved.

She still wore her silver jewellery and long earrings. With gladiator style heels on she was a few inches taller and just met Merulas height when she didn't have heals on.

The girls made their way to the common room, it was full of green and silver outfits with smooth lines of smoke filling the air. Liliana noticed Evan and practically ran to him, he smiled once he saw her and opened his arms for her to crash into, he held her hand twirling the girl around and making her skirt catch the light was it spun. "You look lavish." He said in a low tone, smoke coming out of his nose as he did so.

"Well it's only expected, you aren't half bad either." She grinned, taking the cigarette from his hand, she needed something to prepare herself for meeting these apparent important people.

Barnaby approached them and as liliana hugged him he lifted her up in a spin as he always did, she let out a small giggle before being dropped and brought the cigarette to her lips, inhaling sharp remnants of nicotine scarring her lungs and throat but it gave her a sense of comfort. It was a different pain she could focus on instead of the actual problems, it may be bad for her but fuck it.

The likelihood of her living to see the consequences of it are small, minuscule really.

Almost every single Slytherin 15 and up was going so the crowd making their way through the portrait and into the hall was vast.

A long line of older men in suits with young women in skin tight dresses at their sides was outside the great hall, waiting to go in.

"They're hired." Merula whispered to the group,

"The girls?" Liliana responded in shock, looking at them it wasn't surprising but she didn't think it would be this common in the wizarding world.

"Yup, 60% of these cunts cheat on or kill their wives for sport." Evan muttered in disgust.

"It's because they're all self serving narcissistic blood supremacists." Merula responded. Liliana raised a brow to her, she thought merula shared some of the extreme views many pure-bloods did  but she seemed disgusted by it, or her disgust was rooted in their actions towards their wives.
