"My names Aurora, but people call me Rory, it's honestly okay, thank you though" "Aurora, like the princess?" Mason asked with a cheeky smile. I laughed "yes like the princess". "Pretty name for a pretty girl" Mason answered. I rolled my eyes in a jokey way and smiled at him. I couldn't stop looking at his eyes, it was almost like there was this force keeping me from leaving. I cleared my throat and looked away," I should really go to the toilet so I can sort my dress". "Of course, I'll see you around Princess Aurora" Mason laughed proud of himself. "Yes you will" I replied before I walked away. I reached the toilet fortunately without anymore drink spillages. I sighed, why couldn't I get mason out of my head, I just met him. My phone vibrated in my bag. The name Danny❤️ flashed up, I didn't want to ruin my night with another argument so ended the call. I took a deep breathe and left the safety of the bathroom, I made my way back to the kitchen and found Bec again. "Rory where have you been I've been looking for you? What happened to your dress?"she asked with concern. "Bec it's a long story and I would rather drink then explain it, I wanna get wasted tonight." I picked up another tequila shot and downed it. "Let's get this party started!!" I cheered.
2 hours later I stumbled my way around the living room trying to find my brother. My feet hurt and I wanted to see if I could stay in his spare room, I had lost Bec an hour ago when I decided to go play beer pong with a random group of people. "Ouch" I mumbled as I walked into something hard. I looked up and laughed, "ahh princess Aurora we should really stop meeting like this" Mason laughed. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to, do you know where Jordan is?" I slurred. "Umm no I don't sorry princess". I cursed at myself when my tummy started to flip at the nickname. "Can you take me to a room so I can sleep please?" I asked giving him the puppy eyes. He laughed "of course I can princess". After a look in all the spare bedrooms we found one that was free. "Thank you mason" I said whilst yawning. "Anytime princess just next time don't bump into me" he laughed. "I won't I promise". We stared at each other for what seemed a lifetime before he cleared his throat and said he needed to leave. "Thank you again mason, I think we should be friends" I said laying down in the bed. "We are friends princess don't worry, I'm going to go now good night princess sleep well" mason said as he slowly left the room shutting the door behind him. I laid awake. Mason is going to be trouble I can already tell.
