Conrad then asks me, "Do you want to meet up after classes?"
I shake my head, "I don't really need the help as much," I state, "Though I will blow my whistle the moment I have the chance."
"I am not a dog," he shoots me a glare.
"I have no other way of quickly saying that I am in danger," I roll my eyes, "I probably need to learn how to deal with them on my own - that also means not picking fights with random people because you felt like it."
"Alright alright," he then walks down the hall, "See you at lunch."
I wanted to skip but Akali said I should probably not do that, not like I would have missed much that I can't handle but it would probably look like I was running away from my problems. Whatever they may be.

"What is up man," I stop in place as I see three people walk up to me.
This guy? I then look at the three of them, "Zack."
He offers a wide smile, "I have to be honest but I pegged you to be a little bit of a spineless dweeb but the rumors honestly pissed me off thinking you wanted attention only for it to turn out to be true."
"I didn't spread it," I defend myself, "Besides why does it matter?"
"You might just be a cooler guy than I thought you were," he states, "Want to hang out? Heard that people might want to pick fights with you."
"Unlike you?" I don't realize that I am challenging his words.
"I did admit that I didn't like you because I thought you were an attention-seeking twat," he lifts his shoulders into a shrug.
I sigh internally then next to me someone asks, "Doesn't excuse that fact that you were being a dick."
"Aww, come on Grace," he then sighs, "Yeah yeah I get it, see you around (Y/N)."
I then look at Grace who rubs her brow, "You seriously love getting on a lot of people's nerves, don't you?"
"It comes with the perks."
"Of being you? Or dating a celeb?" she chuckles, "That sounded very terrible - I don't really care I just had a tiny crush on you and honestly I understand why you picked her over me."
"I'd rather not talk about it... it wasn't easy turning you down either."
She nods, "I am starving. I'd rather go and eat before we have another class to fall asleep in."
"Do you know him?"
"Zack? Distant cousin. He is a bit of a dick so don't listen to anything he has to say," she sighs, "That and a lot of people will start to think you are cool so don't go and forget your roots, yeah?"
"I am not a celeb," I roll my eyes, "Not like it is ever going to go to my head, I don't have a big enough ego to support it."
She smiles at me, "Though Akali must be doing wonders, seeing you stand up to them."
I don't know if I ever really changed... apart from actually being able to hold a conversation without making it awkward. On the other hand, I hate talking about it because it always brings up that insecure feeling that I have been trying my best to shake.
"I guess?"
She nods, "We are still friends, so if you think there is something-"
I stop her, "It isn't about that."
"Ah... sorry," she then clears her throat, "Though on a different note is there a possibility I can meet her? Don't take it the wrong way but I would love to meet her in person and maybe the rest of K/DA to?"
I furrow my brow at her, "I haven't even met the rest of them."
"Seriously?! You still haven't answered my question."
*** Akali POV ***
"I thought Ahri gave you the week off?"
I nod, "Hey Eve. I am going to go home the moment he isn't at college," I then tuck my hands in my pockets, "Surprised to see you here though."
She smiles, "Was hoping to see you come in today, was a bit curious about how it is faring. Is he?"
"Sweet," I stop her before she could ask anything further, "There isn't really much we have done as a couple so there is no point asking past that," I roll my eyes at her as she arches her brow at me with a smile.
"So defensive," she then walks with me to the studio, "What about the part where you usually end up going to that place this late in the night?"
I lift my shoulders, "I want to go still seeing as I usually go. I am hoping to get him to tag along but..."
"Some might not be too happy," she states, "I mean it probably won't be that bad seeing as that is your little community of close friends, though JP came from the same community."
"Stop it."
"Just being the one making you understand the gravity of the situation."
"I already understand," I rub my eyes, "Can I just pretend once in my life that I have a relationship where there aren't twenty more issues than there are things to enjoy? Please?"
She nods, "You can. Besides I doubt they will have a problem, they were always an accepting little community," then with pursed lips, "What are you going to do about him though?"
"I will handle him when he becomes a problem."
We step into the studio, "I am just worried that it might just turn out badly, if you can get past the first month with no issues then the two of you will be in a green zone."
"I am aware."
