(Is one of those. 18+. You know how it is.)

The night moved on pretty smoothly, though I expected it, Akali eventually left my side to go and talk with the rest of the people that came along - I just sat near the fire and tried to keep up with whatever conversations running around but my music knowledge is limited to what  I listen to.

I guess I have learned more from just listening to them talk than I ever thought I would. These are all artists after all. It was already getting deathly late with some of them already disappearing, others slipped away without saying goodbye.

Akali then finally walks up to me, "Back."

I then smile up at her, "Something about not leaving my side?"

"Shhh," she then stands next to me with her arm around my shoulder, "You were fine either way, besides I didn't want to overwhelm you with people trying to get to me," I look up at her as she kisses my forehead, "Home?"

"Tired?"  I ask.

"Just kinda want to get home, you know?" she twists her lips to the side in a way that makes me think she is waiting for me to put the pieces to the puzzle together.

I don't know if she thinks that I can't read signs at all because the moment we left I could tell that she was hoping to truly have some alone time - but the thought isn't one sitting with me easily. My anxiety is building up and my heart is pounding in my throat.

"S-sure."

She then gestures for me to get up as she smiles at the few that are left around the fire, "That's us, see you guys next week?"

"Probably not," Ekko states, "We might just have to move it up even further considering some of us actually take work super seriously."

She ignores him as I also lift my hand into a wave, "Sleep tight everyone."

"See ya," they all chime in together as the two of us walk down the stairs.

You don't realize that it is actually pretty chilly until you leave the side of the fire and make your way back home. The breeze is kind of refreshing but bordering the line of nice and fucking cold. Though Akali has been pretty quiet on our way back to the bike.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

She shakes her head, "I had to talk to JP's brother, the main reason why I took forever to get back to you."

"Do I want to know?"

She pulls me closer, "It isn't anything bad, just stupid and annoying to deal with. He says he blames me for leading him on but he knows damn well his brother is a fucking idiot - but it is still his brother so he is going to side with him."

"So I just ended up having to say goodbye to another friend because of that - because we have to support our family no matter how sick they are inside their head," she sighs as she rubs her eye, "Sorry. Annoyed."

She then pulls the bike out of the garage as I shut it behind her. Handing me the helmet she quickly gets on top of it as she gestures for me to get on. I don't really understand what to expect but... it feels like this JP is going to become a problem again.

We reach home and she is still quiet, finally, inside the warmth of the house she then stretches her arms behind her back, "I almost forgot Conrad isn't here."

I nod, "Are sure you are okay?"

"Just a tad bit upset," she states, "Mostly annoyed. I hate stupid people," then looking at me with a smile, "Guess we have the entire night to ourselves, tired at all?"
