Chapter 13

Alanzo's P.O.V.

I was pretty sure Mai was pissed off at me. I wasn't really sure if she wanted to get this tattoo anymore. I didn't even take the chance to ask her because she probably would have changed her mind.

I walked to the back room feeling guilty that I didn't ask Mai if she was still okay with this. I should try to read her mind to see what she's thinking.

"What the hell is wrong with me? What am I thinking? Getting a tattoo is freaking crazy! I gotta get out of this."

So that's how she really feels. I saw here looking around. I bet she's trying to find a way out of this. I think I'll just do this another time. I don't want to put her through this.

I checked my phone, acting like I had got a message. "Um sorry but I have something important to get to. We'll have to come back some other time." I grabbed Mai's hand and walked out the parlor.

"What do you have to do?"

"Get something to eat. I'm starving." I smiled at her. She smiled back but it was a "okay this man is crazy" smile. I laughed on the inside but kept the smile on my face.

"Where do you wanna go?" I asked her.

"Um I don't know. I haven't had a chance to actually tour this city yet."

"Really? Well I guess we have something to do tomorrow. We can also do it with your family."

"That sounds like a good idea."

"Lets just go have food with your family. We still have a lot to tell them and I need to get to know them better."

I nodded my head and we headed on home.

We finally got home and I went to go tell everyone to meet in the dining room in an hour.

I can't wait for what's on the way
