Chapter 22

Mai's P.O.V.

***3 Weeks Later***

It has been three weeks. I have already had my baby and we've been training like crazy. I feel bad that I can't take care of my child because of this stupid war. I just want to just get this war over with so I can get to my family.

My baby is a boy. His name is Alanzo Nuñez Jr. Alanzo wanted to have a mini-him running around. An exact mini-him because Alanzo Jr. already looks like him.

We have had a few occasions when the dark spirits tried to sneak up on us but they always failed. Winston, Alanzo, and I have learned how to use all our elements. Water, earth, air, fire, telekinesis, invisibility, teleportation, and x-ray vision. We have basically already mastered them. We are basically un-defeatable.

Alanzo has been getting the packs together. We have over the half of the world of packs with us. We even have rogues with us. We have set the war date in two days time but it might has to be pushed up. The occurrences of the black spirits have been happening more often. I don't want to wait and risk my pack.

Winston walked in on me thinking. 'Hey, are you thinking again?" He asked me. "When am I not thinking?"

He thought about it, "Good point." He came and sat by me. "What are you thinking about?"

"I'm thinking if I should move the war date up or not."

"It depends on you. Everyone will be with you no matter what."

"Fine it shall be moved to tomorrow. I need to get it over with and I want to get to my baby."

"Alright I'll go tell Alanzo to go report this to all the packs."

"Thanks Winnie."

"No problem Babe." Winston ran out the room.

I went to go see my baby. The packs babysitter had him. I don't get to see my baby that much because I don't want him to be in the middle of all this war talk. I don't know if that is smart or dumb thinking but I think it's the right way to go until it's over.

"Hello Luna, would you like to see your son now?" The babysitter, Emma, asked. "Yes, Emma." She went to go get Alanzo and gave him to me. "He was crying all last night. Took me forever to get him to stop crying." Emma told me. "I'm so sorry Emma. I really do owe you a lot."

"It's okay. I love taking care of kids so it's no problem."

"The war has been moved up to tomorrow. I will build an indestructible fortress for you, the kids, and all the people who won't be fighting. I don't want to risk the innocent people dying."

"Thank you Luna. I owe you a lot now."

"You're already paying me now." I rubbed Alanzo Jr's head. He was the cutest baby ever. He definitely will be a heartbreaker when he grows up. I know it might seem to early to tell but during the baby years that when white werewolves grow faster so he's a week old but it looks like he's two months old. It's crazy. My parents said that it must be from both parents being white werewolves.

I gave Alanzo Jr back to Emma and told her to be safe.

I went to go outside and build that big fort. It was made of earth and I put fire torches inside so it wouldn't be dark. I surrounded it with water and fire. Once I get everyone in there I will put an invisibility shield there so no one can see them.

I finished building and went back inside. I saw Alanzo walking around ordering people. I came up behind him and jumped in his back. "Hey Lanz."

"Hey Rosie." He made that nickname from my last name. "We had another encounter. They tried to get into my office but someone saw them in time."

"Did Winston tell you about the war being tomorrow? Yes and I have told all the packs. They will all be ready."

"Great. Now we just have to get some good sleep." I said happy at the reports.

"Sleep sounds nice." He said. We haven't had a good sleep because of getting ready for the war.

"Alright I'll be in bed. Get Winston and tell the whole pack to go to bed. I want everyone to have a good rest for this war. We're gonna need it."

"Yes Alpha." He joked. "Someone has to do the work around here." I teased him. "That hurts." He faked hurt and held his heart. "Someone had to tell you." I laughed and went up to the bedroom.

I changed into some sleeping clothes and got into the bed. I closed my eyes and went into deep slumber.
