Chapter 5

The game ended Y/N and her team won the game. We are just waiting for her na lumabas then I saw her na papunta na sana samin but was stopped by Sam. A court side reporter. They talked for about 5 mins and I saw Y/N waved at us signaling na patapos na yung interview.

Nasa restaurant na kami near Araneta to grab an early dinner. I took a picture of them habang nagkukulitan kami ni Jill.

Mama Leni: "Congratulations Y/N! . I'm sure your mama and papa are so proud of you."

Y/N: "Thank you tita. Thank you po at nakapunta kayo."

Aika: "Napakagaling mo talaga. Kamusta naman yung tuhod mo. Parang ang sama ng bagsak mo kanina ah."

Jill: "Oo nga. Akala ko nga ilalabas kna ni coach e"

Y/N: "Okay lang ako. Sanay na."

Mama Leni: "Wag mong baliwalain kung may masakit sayo anak."

Y/N: "Yes po. Tara na po kain na po na tayo."

After dinner, hinatid ko na si Y/N sa condo nya. She asked if I can drive. Siguro pagod lang sya kaya ako na ang nag drive.

Y/N: "Thank you sa paghatid at sa support. Drive safe okay?" she said while fixing her duffle bag.

"Yes po. Pasok ka na."

"No. Una ka na umalis." She said smiling.

I drove away that night not knowing that Y/N was in pain and just hiding it from everyone.

Normally pag weekend Y/N and I go out with Ate Aika or Jillian. Nung Saturday she said na hindi sya pwede at may lakad sya with her team, ngayon naman pagod daw sya. So hinayaan ko na lang.

I went out with Ate Aika and Jill and we saw Ken with his friends.

Ken: "Hi Trish, Hello po good afternoon." Bati naman nito sa mga kapatid ko.

Ken is trying to get back with me kahit na sinabi ko na sa kanyang tapos na kami wala na..

Aika: "Hello. Ken right? Jessica, Tricia's sister and this is Jillian."

Jill: "Hello"

Aika: "Tricia una na kami sa table."

He just bow and smile at them.

"Hi andito ka pala."

Ken: "Yes kakatapos lang namin mag dinner paalis narin. Want to join us? We'll go to The Island." I can see his friends waiting for him by the door.

"Maybe next time. Enjoy though."

I was about to go to our table when he held my wrist.

Ken: "Trish can you please give me a chance? Let's talk please."

Nakatingin lang ako sa kamay nya when I heard someone said "Can you keep your hands to yourself?" Lumuwag yung pagkakahawak ni Ken sa wrist ko so I was able to pull it back.

Ken: "Y/N hello andito ka din pala." I can see his jaw tightly clenched. Ever since, never nagkasundo tong dalawa.

Y/N: "Hey" she said not even looking at him. "Tara?" She said looking at me and holding out her hand for me to take.

Ken: "Sige Trish una na kami. Just text me if makakapunta ka."

Hindi na ko nakasagot as I take Y/N's hand and went to where Ate Aika and Jill are.

I can see Ate Aika looking at me then at Y/N then at our hands. So bumitaw ako agad.

Y/N: "Hello Robredo sisters."

Aika: "Buti nakahabol ka. Akala ko di ka na makakarating."

Jill: "Oo nga, kasama mo ba si Gene?" tanong naman nito kay Y/N

Y/N: "Kanina yes, sya naghatid sakin dito."

Bat sya nagpahatid, sira ba yung kotse nya. I was thinking that when Jill asked me,

Jill: "Ate sino yung mga yun?"

Sasagot palang ako ng marinig ko si Y/N na sumagot.

Y/N: "Ex ng ate mo." while saying that parang may inis akong naririnig sa boses nya.

Jill: "Ate cute naman sana sya kaso I don't like the aura parang bad sya for you."

Aika: "Hay nako tama na yang usapan na yan at gutom nko."

After eating dinner, nag aya si Ate to drink a few cocktails. Jill is drinking juice of course. Y/N called the waiter to place our order.

Y/N: "Hi can I get 4 shots of tequila, Ate Aiks ano sa inyo?"

Aika: "I will have 2 sangria, ano sayo Patty? Jill?

Jill: "House blend Iced tea for me please."

"Rum coke naman sakin."

Natapos na ko sa drink ko when I hear Y/N wants to order more.

"Tama na yan may pasok pa tayo bukas."

Y/N: "Walang pasok bukas love. Holiday remember?"

Aika: "Oo nga pala holiday. Let's just continue this at home para mas comfortable?"

Jill: "Tapos ipaalam nyo ko kay Mama kung pwede patikim." sabay sabay kaming natawa sa hirit nya.

We split the bill. Book a ride and went home. Gusto pa sanang umuwi ni Y/N sa condo nya at susunod nalang pero hindi sya pinayagan ni Ate Aika.

This will be an interesting night. Maybe I can ask Ate Aika first before confronting Y/N about the chat. Or maybe both.
