I Can't Save Us

Chapter 21

Tricia's POV

Y/N and Ate we're so busy during the day. We only met at lunch to eat then Y/N went back to her room to sleep. Jill and I has been hanging out in my room as Ate went to town to buy something.

Jill: "So ano ng score nyo ni Y/N Ate?"

Tricia: "Nothing official yet, pero were making progress I guess."

Jill: "Naku ate bilis bilisan mo at baka ikaw naman ang maunahan ng iba. Have you not noticed everyone's looking at her, even Dr. RJ is looking at her."

Tricia: "When did you saw Rj looking at Y/N?"

Jill: "Remember kaninang umaga I went to the bathroom Y/N was at the lobby taking her call then I saw Dr Rj with someone you work with they are both looking at Y/N and discussing something."

Hindi ko alam pero bigla akong kinabahan sa sinabi ni Jill. I get my phone immediately and texted ate and Y/N even mama kung kamusta sila at asan sila.

Jill: "Ate hello. Okay ka lang ba?" While waving her hand at my face. Kanina pa pala nya ko kinakausap.

I then decided to tell Jill what happened with RJ and Y/N.

Jill: "So bakit ngayon mo lang sinasabi sakin to? Does mama or ate knows about this? Kaya ba tinanong ako ni Y/N that night kung sino si Dr. RJ?"

Tricia: "Tinanong ka ni Y/N? Anong tinanong nya?"

Jill: "Yes, tinanong nya ko kung sino si Dr. RJ sayo, hindi ko naman alam na may ganto palang ganap. Hay nako ate sana sinabi mo to kahit kay Ate Aika man lang."

Tricia: "I know I'm sorry. Masyado lang akong naguluhan sa mga nangyayari. But I will tell Ate I promise."

Jill: "Pano yan mamaya pag nilapitan at kinausap ka nun?"

Tricia: "I'll be civil and professional as much as possible tsaka you'll be there and Y/N. Hindi mo naman ako pababayaan di ba?"

Jill: "Of course naman Ate but we can only do so much. You need to tell Ate Aika today about this."

Tricia: "I will, you don't have to worry I will tell her. Thank you Jill you're the best talaga." I then hug her and we talked about a few more topics then decided to take a nap.

Around 3PM I woke up, Jill is still sleeping when I  got a text from Y/N na kakagising lang nya and is now getting some work done. I received a text from Ate Aika if we want strawberry shortcake and a text from Mama that she's doing okay and still at the office.

Magrereply na sana ako kay Y/N when I heard a soft knock on my door. I check it first kung sino, then I saw Y/N standing by the door with a tray full of pastries. I immediately open the door for her.

Y/N: "Surprise! I got these for you." She said smiling. "Actually Ate Aika help me collecting all these deserts.

Tricia: "Mukhang masasarap lahat to ah. Get in here. Para mailapag mo na yan mukhang mabigat." I assist her going inside the room.

Y/N: "Andito pala si Jill. Iwan ko na to dito. Balik nalang muna ko sa kwarto." she put the tray down on the nearby table.

Tricia: "You can stay here, tulog naman sya." I said while holding her hand.

Y/N: "Try this one." She said while holding out a bread for me to try.

Tricia: "It's good. Where did you bought this?" I ask while finishing the rest of the bread.

Y/N: "There is a local cafe down the road. We should try them out."

Tricia: "Sige I love that."

We've talked for a bit more, then Jill woke up and join us trying these breads and deserts. Ate also join us after some time. 2 hrs before the event they all went back to their rooms to prepare.

Y/N POV

I received a text from Tricia na mauuna na sila nila Ate Aika sa baba since they're gonna be hosting the event. As I was walking to the pavilion I was stopped by Dr. RJ.

RJ: "Hi Dr. Y/N have you seen Dr. Tricia?" he then smirked and fix his tie.

Y/N: "I think nasa pavilion na sila. Good evening Dr. RJ. If you'll excuse me." I was walking away when I heard him say.

RJ: "Can I talk to you about what happen last time?"

Y/N: "What happened last time is unacceptable and is between you and Tricia."

RJ: "I know. I would just like to say sorry about what happen I was just too drunk that night and di ko na alam anong nangyari."

Y/N: "Don't apologize to me. Apologize to Tricia. And getting drunk is not an excuse to treat her like that." he then bowed his head and I just continue to walk away from him.

I walked outside and went straight to the garden kasi sa outside Pavilion naka set up ang event.

Pagpasok ko palang ng tent everyone is looking at me. It felt awkward pero nasanay nalang din ako after all pinaghirapan ko lahat ng meron ako ngayon.

As I walk towards our table I quickly saw Ate Aika by the stage so lumapit agad ako sakanya.

Aika: "Well hello there beautiful, sabi sayo bagay sayo tong suit." she said while fixing my collar.

Y/N: "Syempre naman ikaw pumili nito. Nasan nga pala sila Tricia at Jill?"

Aika: "Nag cr lang siguro. Syempre nagpaganda ulit para sayo yung kapatid ko. Ewan ko ba kasi sainyo bakit nyo pa pinapatagal" Then she winked at me.

Y/N: "Hindi naman sa pinapatagal ayaw lang madaliin." I winked back at her and was about to go to our table when I saw Tricia having some photos with some of the guest.

She looks good in blue. I can't take my eyes away from her.

Aika: "Baka matunaw naman po ang kapatid ko, halika na nga at umupo." she took my hand and guide us to our sits as I can't take my eyes away from Tricia. A few minutes passed and I saw her waving at me. She excused herself from the group and walk straight to me. I quickly stand up to meet her and pull the chair for her and Jill.

Tricia: "You look beautiful and hot." she whispered to my ear after kissing my cheeks.

I blushed so much I wasn't able to reply. Narinig ko nalang si Jill sa background.

Jill: "Wala padin talaga yung manok mo Ate Aiks, whipped padin." Then we all laugh at our table. None of us know somethings bad is about to happen.
