I Can't Save Us

Chapter 13

Tricia POV

It's been 2 weeks and I haven't seen Y/N nor heard from her. I kept asking Ate but she's always saying to call or text Y/N if I wanted to know how she's doing.

Tonight will be the championship game. It will be between NU and Ateneo. I was preparing for my court-side report when I saw Y/N with her team mates.

She's wearing her uniform but with a pants on, so mukhang hindi sya maglalaro. I can see her smiling and that makes me feel good. Siguro naka move on na sya. Hindi ko alam if I'll be happy na naka move on na sya. I know, I'm selfish.

After a few minutes I saw Y/N talking to Sam. They look closer than before. I don't know para kong nawala sa mood when I saw Sam touching Y/N's hand, shoulder's and knee. Ang nakakainis pa I saw Y/N hugged her back and Sam kissed Y/N's cheek.

With my frustrations I just focused on the game and to my reporting. As usual Mama, Jill and Ate Aika are in the audience supporting me and Y/N.

The game ended and Ateneo won the game. We will get to interview the winning team.

Sam: "How does it feel winning your 3rd championship?"

Bea: "It feels surreal. I would like to thank all my teammates for always showing up and giving your 100%"

Maddie: "We would also like to thank all our fans and supporters sa walang sawang pag supporta. Maraming salamat po."

Bea: "I would also like to thank Y/N, for always doing her best sa lahat ng game. We will be sad na aalis ka na, but always know na where here for you."

After hearing that I look at Y/N and she looks at me while hugging her teammates.

Sam: "So what will be your plan Y/N after leaving the team."

Y/N: "To all our supporter thank you sa walang sawang pag supporta sakin at sa team Ateneo. I will be leaving in a few days, as you all know I got injured during this season, kaya naman I'll be stepping out of the team, to recover. Agaim maraming salamat sa pag supporta."

After that interview I was not able to move or say a word. I did not know na aalis sya. Babalik din ba sya agad? I was about to ask her a question when the team started to go to their dug out. I also saw Sam helping Y/N with ther wheelchair.

I walk to Ate Aiks and she just hugged me. I felt like my heart is being stabbed by thousands of pins and needles. That should be me, not Sam.

Aika: "She will leave by the end of this week. If you want to talk to her, now is the time Trish.

Tricia: "I'll just end up hurting her again ate. Hindi pa ko handa."

Mama Leni: "Anak, alam ko yung sainyo ni Y/N, nagpaalam sya samin ng mga kapatid mo bago nya sabihin yung nararamdaman nya sayo, Tricia anak, don't let other people decide for you. Hindi nag mamatter yung kung ano ang iniisip nila o sasabihin nila. Look at me, am I being affected sa mga fake news na nilalabas nila about sakin? Hindi di ba? Kasi ang mahalaga yung totoo, at yung mga mahahalagang taong nakapaligid satin na alam kung ano ang totoo."

Tricia: "Ma I'm sorry. I was just to scared sa sasabihin ng iba lalo na maapektuhan ka tayong lahat."

Mama Leni: "Anak ano ka ba, mahal kita at hindi magbabago yun kahit na magmahal ka pa ng babae o lalake. I will always love you Tricia. Wag kang mag alala samin ng mga kapatid mo."

I was crying when I heard that from Mama. Siguro eto lang ung hinihintay ko yung acceptance ng buong family ko. When I broke the hug from mama I heard Jill said,

Jill: "Suyuin mo na si Ate Y/N, namimiss ko na siya e."

Mama Leni: "Before doing that Anak. Fix everything first. I know na nagkabalikan kayo ni Ken, alam mo na kung anong makakabuti sayo. Andito lang kami palagi para sayo."

I am so thankful to have this kind of support system in my life. I will never be where I am now without them. After this night I will try to fix everything and be with Y/N.
