When Venus returned with some teachers in tow she found Harry, Hermione and Ron in front of the red covered wall, Filch yelling at them.

"THEY DID IT!" He kept screaming. He saw Venus, noticing it was her that had alerted the teachers. "IF IT WASN'T THEM IT WAS HER! SHE EVEN COVERED IT UP BY TELLING THE TEACHERS!"

He began to charge towards the girl furiously, but was blocked off by multiple people in unison.

"Mr. Filch!" McGonagall cried. "Control yourself! None of these kids had the motive or capability to do such a thing. Now go with Professor Sprout to see to your cat."

The cleaner sulked away, growling angrily as the Gryffindor teacher turned to her three students. Venus looked up to two taller boys that had stood in front of her protectively. Crabbe and Goyle. She looked around for Draco, knowing he wouldn't be far behind if those two were present, but she didn't see him.

"He'd kill us if you got hurt." She heard Goyle mumble as both boys walked back towards their class.

Venus smiled to herself and walked back to her classroom to gather her things. She walked out and after getting lunch she was walking back to her dorms. Venus began to ponder who would want to petrify a cat. As she was deep in thought she collided with someone carrying many books.

"Hermione!" she said, helping the brunette up and collecting her books. "What are all of these for?"

Hermione looked at her and pulled her to the side of the hallway.

"I'm glad that I caught you. I need help, but you can't ask why. I'm trying to make a polyjuice potion and I can't find ANYTHING in these books."

Venus looked at her and pondered for a moment.

"I have a book that could help, but you have to be discrete, because in Hogwarts it's in the restricted section, but I own it so I can keep it." she explained. "Come with me."

The brunette followed her as they walked around to the hall of moving staircases below Ravenclaw tower. Venus walked through a few of them and then jumped over a moving railing, ushering her to follow. Hermione did the same and both girls ended up in a hidden corner, a door in front of them.

"I found this door leading to the outside of the castle, probably planned to be an extension of the tower but they didn't build it. So I created an ice staircase up to my room."

"Wouldn't it melt?" Hermione asked as Venus stepped through the door and onto the icey smooth ledge.

"Not this ice, I found a spell to enhance my magic."

"Cool."

The two girls walked up the staircase and to an open window into Venus' room.

"You live alone?"

"Well, administration thought that for the first year, no one would want to room with someone like...me, so we planned ahead. And it turns out no one really is bold enough as to try to room with an ice witch, so here I am."

Hermione looked at her sweetly as the ravenette helped her climb through the window.

"If I could room with you, I would. And I know Willow would too."

"I would love that." Venus sighed. "Here's the book." She said, pulling it off one of her many shelves and handing it to her.

"Thank you so much."

"Of course. If you ever need a book, I'll probably have it or at least know where to find it so just ask."

"Ok.Uh..."

Venus laughed and outstretched her hand out her window, wand in hand.

"Let's get you down. Glacia Maxima." Ice spewed from the end of her wand and formed a hard ice brick down the castle wall. "And now-"

Her eyes glitched white, white streaks forming in her hair as the ice started to move. It smoothed out and formed a slide.

"Let's go! Before it melts!" she said, hair and eyes reverting to raven and brown.

They both slid down, small wet patches left on their skirts once they reached the bottom, but they laughed it off as they went to the Great Hall for a snack.

The potion book was left unmentioned.
