She sat up and gasped, realizing her friend had fallen off his broom and might be dead, panicking.

"Venus! It's ok, it's ok, you're in the infirmary, you're safe!"

"What about Harry?! He was falling and i-"

"You saved him." Professor Lupin said, walking towards her bed, cueing her friends to leave for the moment. "You froze the rain in place and allowed Headmaster Dumbledore to cast a protection spell on Harry."

"So hes-"

"Yes he is perfectly fine, he woke up not too long ago and is getting lunch right now."

Venus sighed in relief and then buried her face in her hands.

"I lost control again..."

"I beg to differ Ms.Snow. You displayed control over your magic, despite it being a result of your fear. When you froze the rain you only froze the water, not the students or the stands. You're improving, and might I add the amazing feat it is that you froze multiple meters of rain to save your friend."

"Why did I pass out then?"

"Ah yes, after Harry was safe, it seems as though your powerful fear outcome attracted the Dementors to you. Professor Snape cast them away and cast a warming spell, which is probably why you have a lapse in your memory."

"I see... Thank you Sir. I'll see you tomorrow for class?"

"And for your private practice, yes, but do try to take it easy." He said with a chuckle, placing a chocolate bar on the girls lap. "That should help."

"Thank you Sir."

Venus was less than proud of herself to say the least, but she acknowledged she was improving. She walked back to the Ravenclaw common room that night and prepared for the ostracization to continue as she solved the door handles riddle. As it swung open an empty quietness filled the already quiet space. She awkwardly B-lined to the girls wing but paused when one of her classmates began clapping. It was Luna Lovegood.

She was an odd friend, only in some of her classes this year, but although they didn't talk much, the blonde girl was cheering for her. To her surprise the rest of the common room joined her, cheering that she had saved Harry. A Ravenclaw Perfect approached her and patted her head.

"You did a great thing Venus, we're sorry for how we treated you."

The ravenette looked around at her fellow housemates and smiled, tears rolling down her cheeks. The older years awed at her emotional moment, while the first years rushed to give her hugs.
