APEC summit is held in The Philippines, being the host country means exerting hospitality to our neighboring countries.

The organizers is preparing for a state banquet for the dignitaries at The Bayleaf, Intramuros.

Mexican President Jose Manuel Oroquieta is first to have a courtesy call at the OVP, he's a charming guy with a sense of humor.

He met VP Risa at her office, they shake hands and the taller woman offered a seat.

"I can't believe that i'm seeing a goddess personally, my god i'm so lucky!"

"I'm taking that as a compliment, Mr. President. Thanks!"

Risa smiled sweetly, Mr. Oroquieta discuss some business matters to her and the charities that he want to help.

After that, he went on his hotel to prepare for the event.

"Last na ba 'yon, makaka abot naman tayo on time di ba?" Risa felt relieved but at the same time nervous.

"Yes, Ma'am! Naka ready naman na po ang susuutin ninyo sa banquet, retouch na lang ng make up then bihis na." says Rae,

The glam team took care of Risa's look for tonight's event.

On the other hand, Leni finish her last engagement before she prepare also for the banquet.

"Aiks, you'll be by my side mamaya ha." she remind her eldest daughter,

"Yes po, Ma.. Eh si Mama Ris po?" Aika asks,

"She's not my first lady tho, but she will be there." she replied while tidying up her things.

3 hours before the banquet, nag handa na ang aming team—glam team pala. Hehe.

Rona did my make up and hair, sinabi ko sa kanila na maglulugay ako ng buhok today.

I also pick my outfit, my infamous filipiniana top and weaved skirt from the IP community of Ifugao. Wedge shoes na talagang kailangan ko para magmukha akong matangkad.

"Tumawag na ba si VP Risa sa inyo, anong  ETA niya?" tanong ko, Sab checks her phone to contact Rae from OVP.

"Ma'am, 5:50 nandito na po siya. Nag bihis lang po from the last courtesy call."

"Good, sabay na kami."

I've been thinking what she would wear, siguro something that would swept me off my feet.

5:15 PM na, hindi ko alam ang mararamdaman ko kapag nakita ko siya. Buong araw din kaming busy at hindi nakapag update sa isa't isa, we understand how hard it is as we took this responsibility.

"Madam, kumain ka muna ng snacks baka magalit si VP sa amin." Sab says, natawa ako ng slight.

"Sige, pengeng chocnut sa jar."

"Ma'am, pagkaing tunay po, hindi yung trip nyo."

"Ok po!" hay nako, pati sila nahawa sa pagiging praning ni Risa.

35 mins later, dumating na si Risa sabi ni Sab.

I was studying my speech for tonight ng kumatok siya sa pinto.

"Pangga, i'm here!!!" even though i'm not looking, sure akong abot tenga ang ngiti niya.

She hugged me from the back and squeeze me tight, miss nga ako nito.

I saw through the mirror her blue modern filipiniana dress, with hand painted floral design. Fit sa kanya dahil matangkad siya, nakapusod ang buhok niya at light make up. Most importantly, amoy baby.
