I thought it was a happy ending, but it's not..

"Langga, l-let me explain.. I-it wasn't like that, we're just—" Louis is stuttering as she tries to tell Theresia her side of the story, the latter saw her kissing another woman.. Chesca.

"Ano bang dapat kong maramdaman dito, Louis, dapat ba matuwa ako? Kailangan ko bang magpa-party para sabihing, 'Yehey, may kahalikan ang Boss ko bukod sa akin!' ganun ba? Ah, oo nga, BOSS PALA KITA." those words tears Theresia's heart, yes, they are lovers but not acknowledged publicly. They are still seeing each other in secret, even though Louis transfer her to another department.

"Alam mo, awang-awa ako sa sarili ko, alam mo kung bakit? Kasi, mahal kita.. Pero yung uri ng pagmamahal na meron ka, nakakasakal. Pagod na ako, Louis! PAGOD NA PAGOD NA AKO!" Theresia slumped to the floor, sobbing uncontrollably, she cupped her face, Louis tried to console her but she pushed her away.

"I'm sorry, Tere, hindi ko naisip na masasaktan ka ng ganito.. Tell me, paano ako babawi sa'yo? I will do everything for you.." Louis said as she cries, Theresia looked at her with anger in her eyes.

"Break up with me, i'll resign too. So you can do whatever you want!" she uttered.

"No, i don't want!"

"I made a decision, whether you like it or not, i'll file my resignation letter — and i don't want to see your face again!" Theresia gather her strength to stand, she get her things on Louis' room.

Before she left, Theresia looked at Louis, she gave her the ring that the latter bought her and left.

"Anak, nag away ba kayo? Bakit hindi ko na nakikitang nagpupunta si Louis dito?" Aling Azon bombarded Theresia with questions, the latter just sigh as an answer. "Mukhang malalim ang ugat ng away ninyong dalawa, sige, saka na natin pag usapan kung hindi ka pa handa—"

"Ma, namuhi ka ba kay Papa noong nambabae siya?" Theresia asks, Aling Azon nodded in response.

"Wala naman sigurong tao ang hindi nakadama ng pagkamuhi kapag ipinagpalit ka sa iba — iniisip ko nga kung saan ako nagkulang, napaligaya ko ba siya.. naasikaso ko ba siya ng maayos? Bakit niya nagawa sa akin yung bagay na 'yon, ano ba ang dahilan kung bakit siya nanlamig.. May panahon na isinisi ko sa sarili ko kung bakit niya tayo iniwan, ang sakit."

"Ma, tama bang iniwan ko si Louis dahil galit ako?" she asked, "Hindi ko kasi mapigilan yung bugso ng damdamin ko sa kanya noong araw na 'yon, kaya nakapag bitaw ako ng masasakit na salita sa kanya."

"Ikaw lang ang makakasagot ng tanong mo, anak. Kausapin mo siya kapag handa ka na, mahirap yung magsusumbatan pa rin kayo. Subukan mong intindihin yung sitwasyon, ikaw pa rin ang magdedesisyon, at kung ano ang sinasabi ng puso mo.. Gawin mo." Aling Azon hugged her, Theresia felt relief hearing those words.

It's been 3 months after Theresia left Louis' house and her life. The CEO focuses on her work, not having time to have fun, she prefers to stay home and sleep whenever she needed to.

Leandro pays a visit to his daughter's house to check on her.

"Ma'am, ang Daddy nyo po.." says one of her helper,

"Sige po, papuntahin nyo na lang dito." she said, the helper ushered the older Bourbon to his daughter now busy reading files.

"Anak.." he quickly kissed her forehead, the latter smiles. "Bakit dinala mo pa rito yung trabaho mo, should've left it in the office.."
