Liz was on her way to the grocery store when she noticed Hilary and her son, Santino, having a disagreement over a pack of chocolate. Santino was eager to have it, but his mom was scolding him. Liz let out a sigh and continued with her shopping, picking up the items she needed.

"Oh, Liz! Hi!" Hilary greeted her, but Liz responded with a bored expression on her face. "Balita ko, talagang tinuldukan mo na ang lahat kay Santi ha. Mas ok ba yung babae mo ngayon?"

Liz couldn't help but feel a sense of annoyance at Hilary's tone, as if she were the one who had been unfaithful. However, in reality, Liz knew that wasn't the case.

"Alam mo, lubayan mo na ako.. Pasalamat ka't hindi kita pinatulan ever." She gaze at Hilary's son, "I hope you raise Santino well, sana hindi ka kamuhian ng bata kapag nalaman niya ang totoo." Liz spun around and shot Hilary another disapproving glance, sensing her anger.

But to Liz's astonishment, Hilary suddenly yanked her hair, causing her to nearly lose her balance and sending her groceries tumbling to the floor. The commotion caught the attention of the security personnel, who quickly intervened to defuse the tension.

The people who were also shopping were stunned by the scene, they were furious of Hilary. They shout at her and her son, until they were drove out of the store. Liz on the other hand, quickly pick up her items on the floor. Some of the costumers helped her, she thanked them.

One lady talked to her, "Ma'am Liz, hanga talaga ako senyo.. Ang chill nyo lang, paano nyo nagawa 'yon?"

"Hindi na ako pumayag na bastusin ako, saka, hindi naman masamang tao ang ipinalit ko kay Santi.. Saka, latak naman na yung kinuha niya!" She smirked, "Magsusumbong na naman 'yan doon, hayaan nyo na."

"Seriously, Liz.. You should've brought me along, I could've given Hilary a piece of my mind!" Rain exclaimed, seething with anger. She was in her office at that time.

"May meeting ka, Love. Saka, konsensya niya naman yung uusig sa kanya sa ginawa niya sa akin at sa mga anak ko." Liz uttered, she prepares for their dinner.

"Haay, oo na.. Nagalit lang naman ako kasi sinaktan ka niya, si Santi ba ginanyan ka sa mga taong nagsama kayo?" Rain asked.

"He hurts me emotionally, but he never lay a finger on me." Liz sighs softly, "Bakit ba inuusisa mo 'yon, eh mas magaling ka mag alaga!" She quickly pout her lips for a kiss which Rain gladly obliged.

"Just curious lang, eh kung ganoon, bakit naman nagpatukso ang ex-husband mo?"

"He's insatiable. Every time he wants to sleep, it's like he needs sex, like it's an addiction," Liz confided, explaining why she avoided intimacy with Santi after giving birth to Henrik. "At first, I thought it was harmless, maybe just his way of wanting me to feel good. But he's so rough, it's nothing like our first time together." Liz paused, reflecting on the situation. "That's when the cheating started. Hilary saw her chance and took it. Sure, there were other women he flirted with and slept with, but Hilary was different. She stuck around, got pregnant, and now they have a son." She shrugged, resigned.

"You practically handed her a happy ending by getting annulled from Santi," Rain remarked.

"Well, best of luck to her," Liz smirked. "Not my concern anymore. All I care about is my sons' well-being."

After Liz prepared the dishes, they enjoyed their meal together, engaging in lively conversation and teasing each other.

Following dinner, Liz delved into studying some papers while Rain took care of the dishes.

Liz, being both a social worker and an attorney by nature, often found herself as the go-to person for individuals needing someone to advocate their concerns to the governor. Her determination to run for the gubernatorial position next year was unwavering, despite the daunting prospect of competing against her ex-husband. She was prepared to endure any challenge to teach him a lesson.
