Chapter 17

Avery's POV

The rest of summer break I don't see much of Riley.
But I do see his family a good bit

"Avery! Avery!!" I hear a voice yelling. As I'm getting into my car to go to town with josh.

I look to see Riley's niece Nancy. I walk across the road

"Hey Nancy. What's up sister?" I said
She hugged me big. "I missed you!" She said

"Oh did you know uncle Ri is on a tv show now."

"He is? I didn't know that. What show?"

"It's called redneck island I think. He has a lot of challenges. Momma said something about he's not playing football anymore. He's going to start singing. But he was invited to do this show"

"Oh okay. Well I will have to watch it then huh." I asked and she nodded.

"Oh. My. Gosh. That ring is so big. You're married???" She said

"I'm not married yet. I'm engaged. It is big isn't it"

"Too bad it isn't uncle Riley you're getting married to" she said

"Well I have to go. Josh is waiting on me. Love you sissy"
"Love you too sissy" she says back

"Who was that?" Josh asked

"That was Riley's niece. We and her used to hang out all the time. I love her so much. She was telling me he's on a tv show called redneck island" I said driving off

Summer is over. Back to school
Josh is gone on a work trip. He's a year older than me. He graduated 2 years ago so it's just me in my apartment. We decided to stay like we are until we get a house and get married.

I was scrolling through tv and I said redneck island so I decided to watch it while I was studying.
I ended up doing more watching than studying.

Since I saw him last he has gained a lot more muscle. Damn he looks so good. Mmmmmmm look at how big his arms look. Mmmmm he has abs oh shit

Shit stop Avery stop it. You're engaged don't look at him like that.

I pause the tv and go get something to eat and drink.
I didn't know it had showed the whole season already I would have watch it every week

I ended up watching the whole season Riley was in.
AHHHHH WHAT?!? RILEY WON?!? Ahhhh
I screamed. Realizing it was very loud I looked at my phone it was
Oh shit I have exams in the morning
12:45am
Avery texts Riley
    A- thanks a lot. Because of you I'm just now going to bed I have an exam @7:20 and @8 in the morning.
      R-??? I haven't done anything?
  A- I watched the whole season on redneck island.
Congratulations thought I'm glad you won!! Hard work pays off

R- that's your own fault lol. Thanks for watching. And thank you. Yeah I decided since football wasn't my thing anymore I'd try something new.  So I started working out like crazy Im playing a lot more bar and shows.

A- I'm telling you Ri. You'll end up forgetting about me someday. You'll be all hot and famous

R- no I won't forget about you. Go to sleep

I then closed my eyes and fell asleep.

"Hey baby" I felt someone kissing the back of my neck
I was cutting up some strawberries with a baby on in a holder on my chest. I turn to see Riley.
"Hello babe" I say as he leans down kissing me on the lips

A boy come running into the kitchen says
Daddy daddy. Come on daddy

BEEP BEEP BEEP
My alarm goes off I jump up
Thinking I just dreamed Riley and I were married and had kids? Wth is wrong with me???
