"This song I wrote about my best friend growing up, it was a female. I haven't seen or talked to her in a while and I really miss her she actually lives here in New York now. So I thought what better place to play this song. It's new I have never played it before. It's called get back home" he winked and the girls screamed.

How's long's it been since you heard Neon Moon
Or danced in a line in a bar in your cowgirl boots?
When's the last time you even wet a line
Or smelled the honeysuckle growing on a vine?
If you can't see the stars from where you're sitting
I'd say something's a-missing
Maybe it's a boy in ball cap, beer in his hand
That you thought you could do without
Sitting on the same porch, strumming the same chords
Bet he's missing you like hell right now
If that grass ain't as green as you thought it was
And the good ol' boy might be good enough
That's something that you can only get back home
So get back home
Do you shoot whiskey straight every now and then?
When's the last time you stopped to see your mama now?
Do you ever miss the bed of a Chevrolet
Parked in the dark on a riverbank?
Well, that boat's still running strong
So baby, what the hell are you waiting on?
Maybe it's a boy in ball cap, beer in his hand
That you thought you could do without
Sitting on the same porch, strumming the same chords
Bet he's missing you like hell right now
If that grass ain't as green as you thought it was
And the good ol' boy might be good enough
That's something that you can only get back home
So get back home
Yeah, get back home
Just take the left off of the highway
And at the end of a long gravel driveway
There'll be a boy in a ball cap, beer in his hand
That you thought you could do without
Sitting on the same porch, strumming the same chords
Know he's missing you like hell right now
If that grass ain't as green as you thought it was
And the good ol' boy might be good enough
That's something that you can only get back home
So get back home
Yeah, get back home

He looks up and makes eye contact with me. He stops singing and his jaw drops. Then he smiles

And he finishes singing

And he finishes singing. I'm not really sure what to think. It's a good song I like the song but the story behind it rugged at my heart a little bit

"Oh my gosh!!!! Avery did you see him look at you?!?!" Loni was freaking out. Little did she know this song was about me.

"I did. Omg" I laughed back at her. He kept singing and we kept dancing.
Caleb came behind me and grabbed my waist and we started dancing.
Riley started a slow song and Caleb and I danced together with a drink in my hand and one in his.
He ended up spilling beer all over me and the. He passed out. I ran into the bathroom to try and wipe it off of me. Loni there is a man out here wants to see you.

I walked out of the bathroom to see Harris. One of mine and Riley's friends.
"Hey Harris." I said trying to hug him but he refused.
"No ma'am. You stink. Come with me. You can come too" he pulled my arm and Loni followed me.

"Wait you know him?" She asked
"Yeah it's a long story. I'll tell you later."
Harris took us across the street to a shopping mall for me to wash off and get another dress.
