I open my eyes to see him standing by the bed "What is it baby?" I asked "Daddy callin" he said handing me my phone
I answered the call as Beau climbed up in my lap
"Daddy!!!!!" Beau screamed in joy
"Hey buddy! Are you being good for mommy?" Riley asked

"I am. Daddy I got me a fish yesterday it was a biggen" he said making us both laugh.
He is the countriest little thing. He loved the outdoors and his accent is a good mix between mine and Riley's. He has Riley's eyes and... well he is a spitting image of Riley.
Him and Riley talked for a while.
"Here mommy needs to go potty you sit here and talk to daddy." I said moving Beau off of me
"Daddy look at mommy belly" Beau said turning the phone to me as I walked away.
"Wow baby brother is getting big isn't he?" I hear Riley say as I waddled to the bathroom
"Daddy when will you be home? Mommy sleeps too much" Beau says as I walked out of the bathroom.
"Beau! You better not be telling on me!" I said making him giggle.
"Hey bud can I talk to mommy?" Riley asked
Beau handed me the phone and tan off
"Hello beautiful" Riley says
"Hey babe." I said smiling at him
"I miss you so much" Riley said "I miss you too... so do Beau" I said
"I know baby. I'm sorry but I'm another week I'll be home for a long time" he sad reassuring me
"I know. Baby boy misses you too" I said showing him my belly.
"Wow. He seems bigger than Beau already" Riley said.
"I mean he's already 6pounds. And I have 3 more weeks to go" I said "if I make it 3 more weeks" I added
"I'll be home soon baby. I have to go. I love you" he said blowing me a kiss through the screen.
"I love you too baby" I said
Later that day Riley's dad came and got Beau and took him to her on the farm.
Around lunch Casey came over we made sandwiches and drink and took out to them.

6 days later. Riley family is over hanging out
"Ohhh" I said as a sharp pain hit me
"Are you okay?!" Casey quickly asked
" I think so... idk if it's contractions or what" I said holding my belly
"Do you need a doc??" Karen asked
" No im okay." I said slowly getting up walking around.
It hit me again making me double over and taking my breathe
"Ohhh baby let's get you to the hospital!" Karen said
"Dad will you be okay with Beau?" Casey asked
"Yes honey. Let us know when you find out something" he said as Casey ran down the hall grabbing my two bags
Karen helped me to the car
"Do I need to call Riley?" Karen asked
"No ma'am. Let's wait until we know something. I don't want to worry him" I said
Casey jumped in the driver seat and drove us to the hospital.
"I think it's contractions... they are about every 6 minutes" Karen said
I took a deep breathe hoping this baby can wait for Riley.
We got to the hospital and into a room. The nurses hooked me up while Karen did paperwork on the phone with my mom who was on the way.
"Well Avery. Looks like you are in labor" my nurse caylee said. (We went to highschool with her)
"Oh gosh. Why can't he wait for Riley" I said "Maybe he will" caylee said
I watched as the contractions came and went I stood up and walked around my room.
Casey said she called Riley before we left home and he was on his way
Just then he walked through the door as a bad a massive contraction
"Ahhhhh oohhhhhhh" I moaned and groaned trying to breathe in between
"Baby......" Riley said holding my hips as I leaned over the bed
"We are going to go to the waiting room with the others" Casey said Karen following her
My contractions stopped and I sat down
"Hey baby girl" Riley said kissing me "I'm so glad you made it. I was worried sick" I said
. . . . . . . . . A year later
I rolled over in bed looking at Riley looking at me. "Good morning mama." He said "Good morning daddy" I replied.
"I can't believe our baby is one today. It breaks my heart. They grown up so fast" I said
"I know baby. They are growing quick" he said sliding his hand down my back missing me
"Mmmm as much as I want to stay here I need to get up and get the rest of the party stuff ready" I said
"Mommy daddy!!!" Beau came running with Austin following him.
We got up and got dressed for the day. Riley made the boys breakfast while I got ready and finished decorating and cooking.
It's November 15th and it's cold here in Alabama Riley dressed Austin in his carhartt clothes.
